Sean rolled his eyes. The classic trifecta of a professional victim: crying, fighting, and threatening suicide.
"Mr. Scott, you should probably call a doctor. Our boss isn't one."
"Cut the crap, Sean," Nathan snapped. "You tell Sebastian that Joanna tried to kill herself because of him. He needs to get to the hospital, now. I'm sending you the address." He hung up.
Sean looked at Sebastian. "Boss, it was Mr. Scott. Ms. Scott tried to commit suicide... because of you."
Sebastian's brow furrowed. "Let's go."
Sean sighed. Of course. In his boss's heart, Joanna would always be the most important.
He received the hospital address and headed to the underground parking garage with Sebastian.
Meanwhile, at Natalie's company, she and Matthew were finishing their breakfast. Matthew had an early meeting, so she walked him out to wait for his driver.
As they stood by the entrance, chatting happily, a gentle breeze lifted a few strands of Natalie's hair, revealing her elegant neckline and delicate collarbones. Her eyes danced with laughter, and she looked radiant in the morning sun.
Just as Sebastian's car turned the corner, he saw the vibrant, smiling Natalie. Matthew's gaze was soft as he looked at her. The two of them, standing together, looked strangely perfect.
A surge of uncontrollable anger rose in Sebastian's chest. "Stop the car," he growled.
Sean saw them too and heard the fury in Sebastian's voice. Was this brute actually getting jealous? After everything he'd done, what right did he have to be angry?
Sean quickly pulled over.
Sebastian threw the car door open and strode over to Natalie, his face dark, a powerful chill emanating from him.
Natalie frowned, her guard instantly up. What was with that look?
