“Tell me the truth. Whether Kelvin has bribed her that as long as she gives up accusing me, he will let her work in the Heyday Group?” Becca asked.

Kelly touched his nose and became nervous, “Well… our boss has his plans. I think you can ask him yourself when you’re back home.”

Becca snorted and rushed out as the elevator opened. Kelly followed her behind and did not know what to do.

‘A woman who was in jealousy cannot be disturbed. He’d better be quiet as a servant. He just wondered who can prevail when Becca and Kelvin were together.’

Becca came back Nova. She was still angry since she was annoyed by the Garcia family. When she arrived at the top floor, she got angrier that she saw Kelvin sitting at the table and reading the newspaper calmly. But she saw the fragrant food on the table, she walked toward the table initiatively and ate the meal.

Kelvin put down the newspaper and glanced at Becca, then he looked up at Kelly with questioning eyes.

Kelly shrugged his shoulders to indicate that there was nothing to do with him.

“Lose again?” Kelvin asked gently and picked up the newspaper again.

Becca did not answer. She just kept eating. Her cheeks bulged like a squirrel eating.

Kelvin frowned and looked at her.

“I’m stuffed.” Becca put down the forks and knives, pulled out a napkin to rub on her mouth, and got up to leave.

“Stop.” Kelvin said coldly.

Becca paused but did not turn her head.

“Kelly. Since these meals are not to Becca’s taste, the cooks don’t have to stay here. Dismiss all of them.” Kelvin said without raising his eyes from the newspaper.

“Got it.” Kelly shuddered and answered.

“Bullshit.” Becca turned and said, “Why don’t I know I have said the meal is not my taste?”.

She returned to her seat, wrapped her arms around herself, did not want to look at Kelvin, said, “A useless designer can be hired while good cooks couldn’t stay.”

Becca could not help mumbling.

Kelvin read through her mind. She was not only annoyed by others but was irritated by Laura. He said, “I’m the boss of the Heyday Group. It’s up to me to hire and dismiss anyone. Do I need to discuss with you?”

Becca gritted her teeth, and she was really annoyed by him.

‘He knew clearly that she hated Laura. But he still hired Laura to work in Heyday Group. It’s obvious that he meant to do so.’

However, thinking carefully of his words, Becca was inspired.

“Well, in that case, I want to work in the Heyday Group as well.” Becca said excitedly. It’s obvious that she was planning something.

Kelvin put down the newspaper, tapping his finger on the table.

Becca ran to Kelvin and squat down. She looked at him and said, “Kelvin, you see, on seniority, on achievement, I’m much better than Laura. You will not lose anything if you hire me. Don’t worry. I’m easy to be satisfied with. The salary does not need to be much but is twice times as Laura’s.”

Kelvin squinted his eyes.

“Well, my salary is up to you. As long as I can be hired, I can work for you free. Deal?” she said with blinking her eyes and holding her chin.

Kelvin turned his head and obviously he was not interested in her proposal at all.

“Oh, my dear Kelvin, just say yes.” Becca said as she shook his pant, “I can do anything for you. You see that I promise to work for you free. You pity me as a design major graduate. You cannot waste my specialty and make me idle all day.”

Kelly controlled himself not to laugh. Then, he found that Kelvin was looking at him. He hurriedly stood up and said, “Boss, I… I still have something needed to do. I should leave now.”

Then he left the room as hurriedly as he can.

Kelly had no idea why Kelvin asked him to do so but still walked to the front of Kelvin. However, the moment he got there, Kelvin attacked him with a fist. Kelly quickly responded and dodged the attack.

“Boss!” Kelly cried out of confusion.

“What did I teach you before?” Kelvin said coldly, “You cannot solve the problems by bullying others.”

Kelly understood immediately that Kelvin was scolding him because of Maria’s injury. He softened his voice, “Sorry, boss. I was meant to give her a lesson, but she was too abhorrent. I thought she was too mean to Becca that I could not help to beat her.”

Kelvin sneered, “Too naive you are. That I want you to guard Becca is to avoid her making troubles. But you helped her as an accomplice?”

Kelly bowed his head and kept silent.

“I’m wrong. The punishment is up to you.” he said sincerely.

“It’s different from when we were in the army.” Kelvin said coldly, “To against a person is to find her weakness. If someone can help you achieve your goal, you don’t have to do it by yourself.”

Kelly trembled and was afraid that Kelvin would ask him to accompany him to boxing as punishment. He did not forget that last time he was injured badly just because of boxing with Kelvin.

While he was terrified, he caught a glimpse of a small figure behind the treadmill.

Becca lurked furtively there and looked at Kelvin.

“Deduct your salary for three months. Go to your brother to get the punishment.” Kelvin said as he saw Becca trying to approach them.

“Yes, sir.” Kelly left and thanked Becca so much for helping him avoid boxing with Kelvin.

Seeing Kelly leave, Becca came out from behind the treadmill.

Kelvin sat down for a rest, took off his boxing gloves, unscrewed a bottle of water, and drank it.

Becca rushed to the front of him and handed the towel to Kelvin with both hands and said, “You must be tired. You can use it to towel your sweat.”
