‘Boring.’ Becca sniffed and she really did not like to see Kelvin’s poker face. She took her phone and powered on it. There was a long list of unanswered calls.

The news that she came out of the police station must be heard by John. That was why he called her so many times.

She wanted to know if her father would come to congratulate her on getting out of the cell so she called back.

As the call was answered, there was a roar from John. Becca frowned and took the phone a litter far away from herself.

“Becca. Don’t you think that you have a back that you can do whatever you like to hurt our Garcia family? If there is anything wrong with Maria, you’d better wait and see!”

“Maria?” Becca answered confusedly, “What, she miscarried as well?”

“You bastard! Don’t pretend you know nothing. Maria is harsh on you at times, but how can you beat her so hard?”

Listening to John’s scolding, she finally got what was wrong.

Mari was beaten by someone, and John had no idea who did it. So, John thought it was she who hurt Maria.

Becca hung up the phone and stared at Kelvin with suspicion.

“You did it?” She asked.

Kelvin raised his eyebrow and said, “You think I am the one who is so bored to do it?”

“I haven’t told you what’s going on.” she laughed.

Kelvin smiled, too. ‘Well, he let down guard. He forgot that it was a foxy girl sitting in front of him.’

However, what he said to Kelly was to teach Maria a lesson instead of hurting her.

‘Well… Kelly really needs to be a punishment.’

“Awesome!” Becca could not help to give him a compliment, “Next time remember to bring me to be with you.”

Kelvin turned his head and said coldly, “It will not happen again.”

Becca pouted, stood up, and ran out.

“Where are you going?” he squinted at her.

“For such a special moment, I’m definitely going to see what they look like now and to mock them.” she answered seriously, “It’s better to take a picture and share it on Twitter to let all my relatives and friends know how Maria looks like now.”

Kelvin had no idea what to say.

“Well, I'll be back later and remember to prepare a meal for my dinner.” Becca waved and said goodbye to him.

‘She totally forgot that she was just out of the police station. She has just been bullied so hard but now she is going to mock others.’

Kelvin was wondering whether she had learned anything from this incident. Or perhaps he should go to check whether Kelly was strong enough to protect her and avoid her being beaten next time.

“You think I want to come?” Becca rolled her eyes. Then, she stood straight to stare at Laura.

Laura was frightened by Becca’s stare. She had no idea whether Kelvin had shown Becca the surveillance video. She did not dare to do anything.

“My dear sister. I haven’t thanked you for not continuing framing me. It’s quite unexpected. In the past, you must have caught this opportunity and made the trouble to me. So, what’s wrong with you this time?” Becca said. Although she did not know the reason why Laura gave up framing her, she was definitely sure that Laura would not threaten her with this matter.

Indeed, Laura was not quarreling with her but to cling to John’s cloth and said, “Dad….”

“Get out of here!” John roared at Becca and pointed at the door.

“Why do I need to get out of here? All my family members are here. Why can’t I come as you do?” Becca sneered, “I see you scold hard on the phone and come here for you. What’s up? Since I’m here now, you are tired of scolding?”

“Your family?” John stared at her and said, “Do you really treat us as your family? You made your sister miscarry and hit Maria to be in hospital. Next time you are going to irritate me to death?”

Becca looked up at him and said, “If your death can bring my mother back to life, I will definitely do it.”

It is said that when someone gets a stepmother, the stepmother will turn Dad into a stepfather. That’s true for Becca. If she could choose her life, she would rather not live a princess-like life in the Garcia family but live a simple life with her mom after her mom divorced John. It would be better than what it was now as her mom was dead and she had none to support her.

“How long are you going to bear no grudge? Your mom committed suicide! There was no one here who forced her to end her life with a knife.” Flora said, “You are also one of our Garcia family. Why do you do something bad to our Garcia family?”

“Not forcing her?” Becca said wryly, “Right, you will never admit that you force her to death like what you have done to me. You will never admit that you have troubled me a lot. You will only consider that it’s all I and my mom’s fault. My mom should not condone my dad’s cheat and help him raise Laura. That’s why she died for no reason. I was wrong cause I brought Albert home and let Laura know him. That’s why he can cheat me when we were getting married….”

“Stop talking.” John interrupted her, “Since you hate our Garcia family so much, from now on, we break off father-daughter relations!”
