Kelly was waiting outside the washroom when Janet ran out and unexpectedly set him up for dumping her. She made a scene drawing the attention of the whole dining room.
By the time the security guards controlled the situation, Becca was long gone.
Kelly told Kelvin the whole thing warily, scared that he would be punished to drink the water of the swimming pool. "Boss… Do we need to send someone to get her back?" Kelly asked tentatively.
"No." Surprisingly, Kelvin smiled slightly instead of getting mad. Hearing Kelly's statement, he even imagined how cute she was when she slipped away with Janet helping her by disturbing Kelly.
"She can't be too far." Kelvin said for certain.
He knew that she had to take it out on those who pissed her off. So she must be about to go back home messing her family up.
"What about that Miss Wilson?" Kelly got enraged at the thought of Janet. His reputation was ruined by her, since after all so many people in the dining room were taking the pictures of them with their phones.
"It's up to you." Kelvin said.
The spoiler combination of Becca and Janet had disastrous power to upset everything they wanted to. But Janet had to be kept from Becca in case she upset the relationship between Becca and him.
So Kelvin decided to leave the important task to Kelly, who was still single.
Kelvin strode away, ignoring that Mia who was waiting for him.
Mia's smile faded as Kelvin went out of sight. She clenched her fists, her nails deeply digging into her palms.
Although it was hard to hear exactly what they were talking about, she caught a name sensitively.
Mrs. Lewis…
'Well… So was there a damn woman being with Kelvin?'
In the back seat of the taxi, Becca plonked her head on the window when she was dozing.
Waken by the pain, she touched her forehead and started to wonder why she had a bad dream during the day.
"Becca." Seeing Becca, Laura hid behind Maria, "I… I didn't mean to. I just like it and want to try it on…"
"Try it on?" Becca sneered, "So you slept with Albert just to try out my future husband for me?"
"What are you talking about, Becca?" Maria screened Laura, "Don't blame your losing your man on my Laura. It is Laura that is going to marry into the Davis family, and Albert will bring better things in any case. As for your dress, we're just testing the style. Anyway, you don't need it anymore, do you?"
"Well," Becca had had enough of the two women, "I lose my man? Who can win against you two? You stole my father and your daughter slept with my fiancé. Fish rots from the head!"
"Shut up!" The noise downstairs interrupted the people who were talking in the study. John and Albert were standing at the top of the stairs, with Becca's grandparents William and Harrison following behind.
"You are too offensive! She's your mother! How can you talk to her like that?" John went downstairs and pointed at her crossly.
"She is not my mom. My mom is dead!"
"You!" John was too angry to speak. He flung his hand toward Becca.
