Boss, Your Ex-Wife is Unreachable Now! novel Chapter 251

When Juliette Danton saw Willow Sheffield’s reaction, her heart skipped a beat. Something wasn’t right.

No way.

Could it really be Beasley Windsor, that scumbag?

How did he even manage to follow them all the way up the mountain?

She quickly turned away, not daring to look or ask any more questions.

Among their group, the young doctor couple and Dr. Shaw looked utterly confused.

“What’s… what’s going on?” Dr. Shaw asked, glancing around.

Ian Lockwood was standing right beside him, and since Ian had blurted out, “Is it him?” a moment ago, Dr. Shaw naturally turned to him for answers.

Ian shook his head. In truth, he didn’t know who the man was—he just knew he was dangerous.

With that thought, Ian instinctively shifted his position, moving in front of Willow to block Beasley’s line of sight.

Beasley frowned when his view was blocked.

Ian.

He recognized him.

So Willow really did come hiking with this young doctor. And those two other men clustered around her… Beasley realized, not for the first time, that he truly knew nothing about Willow’s circle of friends. He’d always assumed her only close companion was Juliette, the woman standing beside her now.

Beasley had intended to step forward, but seeing the way things were, he stayed rooted to the spot, unmoving.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the light faded and the crowd began to thin out. Visitors started heading down the mountain in small groups.

Those who lingered at the summit were now enveloped by a different kind of awe—the all-consuming darkness.

About ten minutes passed, and by then, most of the sunset-watchers had dispersed.

The cable cars were set to stop running in half an hour, but Willow and her friends still hadn’t budged.

Neither had Beasley.
