Boss, Your Ex-Wife is Unreachable Now! novel Chapter 20

Vincent Windsor, chairman of Windsor & Co., was Beasley's father. His wife, Dorothy, came from one of Kingston City's most distinguished families—a classic case of two dynasties joining forces.

Their marriage had always drawn attention, especially on their anniversaries. Every year, Vincent and Dorothy's celebration became the talk of the city's social circles. But after their lavish silver anniversary party seven years ago, the couple stopped hosting any public celebrations. Instead, they slipped quietly out of town each year, choosing to travel abroad and celebrate in private.

So when Vincent and Dorothy returned home much earlier than expected, Xander was left completely at a loss.

Beasley frowned, "Who leaked the news?"

Xander had no idea, and he certainly wasn't about to shoulder the blame. "Maybe… someone in the executive office? Or perhaps Mrs. Windsor's own people?"

Beasley's good mood evaporated instantly. He'd hoped for a few more days of peace, but clearly, that hope had just gone up in smoke.

Well, it had to be faced sooner or later.

"Arrange for someone to meet them at the airport," Beasley said, closing the file in front of him and issuing the order.

"Yes, sir. Right away, President Windsor."

Xander nodded respectfully and hurried out to make the arrangements.

However, upon landing, Mrs. Windsor—Dorothy, Beasley's mother—didn't call her beloved son first. Instead, her first call went to her daughter-in-law, Willow.

When Willow saw her ex-mother-in-law's name flash on her phone, she hesitated, but in the end, she answered.

"Hello, Willa? Your father and I cut our trip short and came back early. Let's have dinner together tonight. I'll send Jerry to pick you up."

Dorothy barely let Willow get a word in, taking charge as always and making the arrangements in a single breath.

But there was something different this time. Dorothy just said "let's have dinner together tonight"—no mention of returning to the family estate.

Willow thought for a moment. "There's no need to trouble Jerry, just send me the address and I'll get there myself."

Dorothy's voice was warm and cheerful. "Alright, I'll text you the address in a bit. I brought you a little something back from Harmonia—remind me to give it to you tonight."
