Haiden stood where he was and looked at her back. After a while, he looked up and saw Andrew standing at the door.
Haiden didn't know when Andrew stood there and began to watch.
Andrew noticed Haiden's gaze and smiled at Haiden as he turned around and entered the house.
After getting into the car, Haiden closed his eyes. Valery thought Haiden was uncomfortable, so she drove the car very slowly.
She did not know that Haiden made a decision on the way.
Once the car stopped, Valery got off and helped Haiden into the house.
As soon as they walked in, Haiden pressed Valery against the door and then lowered his head to kiss her.
Valery struggled, but she failed.
Haiden's hand had already reached in.
"Mr. Cox..." Valery's heart beat faster and faster.
Haiden held her tightly. The two stayed very close, almost embedded together. Haiden kept kissing the girl. Their lips and tongues intertwined, inseparable.
Valery had never been kissed like this before.
Her breathing, her heartbeat, and her every cell was shaking.
She had once imagined that Andrew would treat her like this, tenderly and roughly, kneading her into his chest and kissing her forcefully.
But she never thought that the person who really brought her to feel all of this was Haiden.
She suddenly remembered what happened the last time she was drunk. Haiden kissed her and asked, "Haven't you ever kissed?"
Haiden's tone was ordinary as if he was asking Valery if she could cook.
Then he held her chin, forcing her to look up and kiss her while guiding her, "Open your mouth..."
Valery suddenly could not tell if she was drunk or Haiden was drunk.
Her legs began to feel weak.
"Valery." She heard Haiden's voice. The voice was a little hoarse. "I told you before, at this time...don't get too close to me. I have already endured it for a long time."
...
Andrew waited in front of Valery's house until twelve o'clock, but he still didn't see Valery in the end.
After finishing his third cigarette, he called Valery.
No one answered the phone. He then repeated it two more times.
On the fourth time, he dialed Haiden.
"I just couldn't understand why this girl always tries her best to get such good scores. Wait! Has she been delusional about marrying Andrew? How ridiculous!"
"It's up to her in the future. If she gets into a good university and knows how to repay kindness, then she could work for you, Andrew."
"I won't enter the company." Andrew heard his voice, "If I refuse to enter the company, then can Valery be my girlfriend?"
"Brat, have you lost your mind?"
Valery's father hurried over after hearing the whole thing. When he heard that Andrew had fought with someone because of Valery, he guaranteed that would not happen again. He acted extremely humble.
That night, the living room of Andrew's house was a mess. His father was scolding, his mother was crying, and Valery's father was also blaming himself and his daughter Valery. And Andrew himself was kneeling on the floor and waiting until everybody became quiet before he slowly went upstairs.
He did not remember what he had promised. He only knew that he seemed to have lost something very precious.
Valery didn't get back to her residence for two days, and Andrew had waited for her for two whole nights. She didn't show up until the third day.
"Did you sleep with him?" Andrew asked as he looked at the hickey on Valery's neck.
Valery stared at him and answered, "Yes, so what?"
Andrew extinguished the cigarette in his hand, then grabbed Valery's collar. His entire face was becoming sinister. He said, "Valery, I asked you to be his assistant, not his bedmate!"
"Mr. Frey." Valery looked at him and replied. She was extremely calm. "Yes or no, you know it in your heart! You are the one who sent me to him. You should have thought of this day!"
