Zachariah opened the door and saw that Ophelia and Ted were so close to each other. Every man would misunderstand seeing his wife with another man in a room in the middle of the night.
Zachariah looked furious for a moment, but he soon restrained his anger.
“Ophelia,” Zachariah said.
Ophelia was shocked, and couldn’t help pressing on Ted’s wound. Ted made a sound with pain.
Ophelia hurriedly said, “I’m sorry.” Then she hurriedly stood up. She almost fell down because she had squatted for a long time. Ted wanted to get her but Zachariah was faster than him.
Zachariah hugged her and said softly, “Be careful.”
Ophelia held his hands and subconsciously explained, “Zach, this is a misunderstanding.”
Zachariah stopped and said, “Shh! I know. Just go back to bed. It’s getting late. We’ll talk about it tomorrow.”
Ophelia glanced at Ted and nodded obediently.
Zachariah took her back to their bedroom.

Ophelia had been observing Zachariah carefully. Zachariah looked at her with a smile and said, “Anything wrong?”
Ophelia shook her head and said, “I went to the baby’s room in the middle of the night. Aren’t you angry?”
“Do you want me to be angry?”
Ophelia shook her head and said, “Actually I went to the baby’s room to...”
“I know you went to see Tommy. I believe you. You will never cheat on me. I’m confident about that.” Zachariah affirmed.
This made Ophelia’s heart pound. She didn’t expect that Zachariah would unconditionally trust her. That was what she had been asking for.
She felt his deep love for her. If she won’t be blind, she would be so happy to enjoy his favour.
But God played her!
However beautiful something is, it can rarely withstand any setback.
After marrying Zachariah, she was careful with anything. Finally when she was about to live happily ever after, God played her.
“You don’t feel jealous when you see I’m with another man. You don’t love me at all.” After feeling moved, Ophelia couldn’t help saying. She wanted to prove that Zachariah had been bad to her, so that she wouldn’t feel so bad when she left.
Zachariah directly took her to bed, tucked her in, and said, “You silly! You are supposed to be sleeping in the middle of the night. If you are not tired enough, I don’t mind making out with you again to make you tired and sleep.”
Ophelia didn’t say anything and closed her eyes. After all, she was really tired and soon fell asleep.
Looking at Ophelia, Zachariah put on a poker face.
He got out of bed and left for the baby’s room.

“You saved my life. If you want to take it, I won’t even blink. But now that my only mission is to protect Ophelia and Tommy, I’m sorry I can’t tell you.” Ted said seriously.
Zachariah said, “How loyal!”
“Boss, sorry.”
Zachariah stepped forward. They were getting so close. Zachariah looked down from a commanding position, and Ted looked up without flinching.
“You dared to disobey me. Aren’t you afraid that I’ll do whatever I can to remove you completely from Ophelia?”
“Boss, I simply perform my tasks according to your order. Unless Ophelia asks me to leave, I will not leave her.” Ted said seriously.
Zachariah looked at him coldly. And then turned around and left.
Ted watched him leave the baby’s room and close the door.
He thought of what he had seen in Cora’s phone. There were cheesy text messages from Boss Zachariah, and photos of him. He assumed that there were at least thousands of them and it was easy to tell that they had been taken recently.
Maybe it was because Ted felt something for Ophelia, he was kinda angry when looking at Cora’s phone.
He wondered why he was angry. He hurriedly deleted the contents in Cora’s phone and wanted to leave her house quickly. He was in a trance for a while and accidentally got injured.
After leaving Cora’s house, he sat in the car but didn’t drive away at once. He didn’t care about the wound on his right arm. He was totally lost in thought for more then ten minutes.
Because he had been in a daze for a while, he came back late. Since he didn’t care about the wound on his arm at all, he climbed the window and got in.
