Soon, a group of doctors and nurses rushed in. They asked Mrs. Conduibh and the rest of them out and then conducted a thorough check for Tassach. Then they took him out of the ward and headed to the operation room.
Gracie supported Mrs. Conduibh to walk over to the door of the operation room.
Gracie said, “Mrs. Conduibh, don’t worry. Now Tassach could react. I am sure he will wake up soon.”
Mrs. Conduibh was excited with tears in her eyes and so were both Mr. Conduibh and Old Mr. Conduibh.
Ophelia stood in a distance away from them. She looked at the operation room nervously. Then she couldn’t help clenching her fists.
“Ophelia, why are you here?” a man’s voice suddenly sounded, which surprised her.
Ophelia looked around and saw Zachariah strode over with medicine in his hand.
She couldn’t help feeling nervous and stammered, “Mr. Chambers, glad to see you here.”
Zachariah waked over and took a glimpse at the Conduibhs. He looked serious and whispered, “I will ask you about it later.” Then he walked over towards the Conduibhs while hugging Ophelia.
“Old Mr. Conduibh, nice to meet you here. What happened?” Zachariah asked with great respect.
Old Mr. Conduibh smiled, “Oh, Zachariah, a workaholic like you should be staying in the office at this moment, shouldn’t you? What makes you here?”
Zachariah smiled, “One of my friends is sick. So I am here to visit her.”
“Oh, she must be one of your best friends. I believe I need to see her some day.” Old Mr. Conduibh smiled.
Zachariah didn’t reply but kept the smile still.
“Old Mr. Conduibh, she is my wife. You didn’t attend my wedding before. So I believe that you haven’t known her.”
Old Mr. Conduibh smiled, “Oh, you know him? Though my grandson is also a capable one, he still has a long way to go when compared with you. Zachariah, he still has a lot to learn from you.”
Something weird flashed across his eyes. But Zachariah still remained decent as usual, “I have met Tassach for a few times because of Ophelia’s work. But as he has been low-profile, I didn’t expect him to be your grandson. Old Mr. Conduibh, I still have to admit that your outstanding work of upbringing really amazed me. Tassach is actually of great potential even to overtake your achievement. It will be Conduibh Group’s day of boom when he takes over the business.”
Old Mr. Conduibh smiled out of content. After all, Tassach was the grandson he loved most. Of course he would like to hear some compliments about him.
“But I still remember that Tassach should be fine a few days ago when we met. What happened to him?” Zachariah asked.
“He has been so hard-working that he barely had meal on time. So he suffered from gastric perforation. Then he was sent to the hospital.” Old Mr. Conduibh explained.
“All men are destined to focus on business. But the health should be also taken as the priority. I suppose Tassach is about to in his thirties, right? It’s time for him to spend time with a partner.” While speaking, Zachariah seemed to glance at Gracie. Then he said, “Oh, Miss King, I didn’t expect you to be here as well.”
Old Mr. Conduibh asked, “You know her?”
