Billionaire Lost to His Surrogate In A Love Game novel Chapter 194

Madeleine swallowed a bit of saliva in fear and managed to chin up, “Well, since when that President Zachariah can have a say in my relationship with my friends? I’m certainly not like Ophelia and wouldn’t just blindly obey your orders.”

“I don’t care about who do you want to befriend with, but don’t you egg Ophelia on. She is my woman and would still be even when we get divorced.”

Madeleine broke into laughers out of sheer anger. Not in her life had she ever met a man who was both a tyrant and a playboy. How on earth can he have the audacity to say such a thing that he still can control Ophelia even if they were divorced? What a douchebag!

“President Zachariah, don’t you think that you are a bit greedy.”

“Am I?”

Well, it’s true that he was wealthy, handsome, highly-educated as well as competent in work. Such a man was probably one in a million in real life and no one would say a thing even if he was indeed a playboy.

“President Zachariah, do you even know what kind of life that Ophelia wants?” Madeleine took a deep breath and asked.

But Zachariah just remained silent.

“Well, I assume that you don’t know a thing about what Ophelia wants. She is absolutely stunning and for that, she is sometimes mistaken that she must be frivolous and lack in self-respect, but the truth is, she’d never even been to night clubs or bars. She dreams to settle down and has her own little home since she was young. But sadly, you are not the one for her.”

Madeleine stood up and continued thoughtfully, “President Zachariah, if you truly have feelings for Ophelia, then I advise you to value and cherish her more. I promise you that you would feel like you have lost the whole world if you really lose her one day.”

Grabbing her purse, Madeleine added, “President Zachariah, please be nice to Ophelia. I’m gonna go and tell Ophelia that I said goodbye.”

Then Madeleine just left for she didn’t want to stay here and be a third wheel.

When Ophelia didn’t see Madeleine after she went back to the living room with the noodles, she casually asked, “Where is Madeleine?”

Zachariah answered, “She has to be somewhere and just left.”

Ophelia glanced at him playfully and put down the noodles, “President Zachariah, Madeleine is my best friend, could you just be a little bit nicer to her?”

“Aren’t I nice enough to her?”

Well, he wasn’t wrong. Madeleine was the one who would just attack him whenever she met him. Zachariah was actually generous enough to put up with her.

Handing Zachariah the chopsticks, Madeleine said, “President Zachariah, have a taste of this. I haven’t cooked for a while and don’t know if it’s to your taste.”

Zachariah then started gulping down the noodles. Though Ophelia didn’t know whether the noodles tasted good, but Zachariah’s reaction was truly satisfying.

After Zachariah finished, Ophelia asked, “There are still some left in the pot, do you want more?”

“I’m sure that President Zachariah must have ways to find out whatever you want. Why would you waste the time and ask me?” Ophelia asked calmly.

Zachariah scanned her, “Nobody is allowed to hurt my woman.”

Ophelia’s heart skipped a bit, but still remained all smiles, “Madeleine always wants the best for me and probably exaggerated on some matters. You don’t have to take it seriously. I would deal with the Conduibh Family myself. They are just a bunch of irrelevant people. We don’t need to put so much weight on them.”

Zachariah’s eyes were as deep as a bottomless abyss.

“Madeleine just said that she was still in contact with Mrs. Conduibh and didn’t mention you. So, you stayed in touch with them?”

He finally got what he wanted to hear.

Ophelia became serious and just asked, “President Zachariah, what exactly do you want to know? You can just ask me.”

Zachariah paused a bit.

“Is President Zachariah wondering whether am I still in touch with Tassach? I knew that after the photo accident, you must have secretly investigated my relationship with Tassach. Well, just as you probably have known, I met Tassach in college and had feelings for each other before, but didn’t end up being together for various reasons. Then I just married you. In our five years of marriage, I’ve never betrayed you whatsoever. President Zachariah, what else do you want to know?”
