Betrayed, But Not Defeated novel Chapter 95

Not long after Daniel left, he received a call from Charlene.

"We're at Fortune Heights Hotel. Come over when you're done!" Charlene's voice was filled with barely contained excitement.

After hanging up, he headed straight there.

Things were buzzing on her side.

The press conference for the youth cream was a huge success, so much so that calling it a major hit wouldn't be an exaggeration. The immediate acne-clearing effects were the best advertisement, and their prepared stock sold out completely. They even received over 30 thousand pre-orders.

And this was just the beginning.

"Ms. Geller, we're going to make a fortune today! The contract with Obsidian Group is enough to feed us for a while, and now with the youth cream... Hehe!" Scarlet said, pulling Charlene aside.

Scarlet was the only one in the company who dared to be this close with Charlene.

Charlene waved her hand with a smile. "Everyone contributed to this! The presale of the youth cream is going really well, and we'll all have to work a little harder in the next few days. But don't worry. The bonus won't be small!"

"Hooray!"

"Long live Ms. Geller!"

The group cheered. After all, employees love tangible rewards, like money in hand.

"Damn it! Who's that shouting?" In the next private room, Frederick, with half his head bandaged, angrily smashed the glass he was holding.

The man sitting across from him chuckled. "That's our new rising powerhouse from Qranross, Geller Cosmetics. They just signed a deal with the Ashcroft family!"

He lowered his voice. "I have news—their new product sold like crazy at the press conference!"

"Mr. Orr, are you daring enough to go big?" Frederick's eyes flashed with a malicious look when he heard this.

With this thought, he raised his head, his hand resting on the bank card. "Mr. Quinton, just wait and see!"

Bobby knew what he was about to do would make him enemies with Charlene, but he wasn't afraid.

With this startup money, he no longer needed to stay at Fortune Heights Hotel. He would become a force to be reckoned with, turning the tides as he pleased—why would he care about someone like Charlene?

Arriving at Charlene's door, he adjusted his tie.

"Sorry, Ms. Geller!" Bobby smiled and opened the door, quickly stepping forward to greet her.

In a great mood, Charlene smiled when she saw him and asked, "Mr. Orr, you're too kind!"

She noticed the waiter behind him holding a bottle of wine and assumed that Bobby had come to offer a toast.
