"Ugh, stop it!" Charlene turned her head and wanted to check herself in the mirror.
Yet, she didn't realize how tempting her movement was to Daniel, especially early in the morning.
After finishing her morning exercise, she still looked incredulous. While he was washing up, she rushed to the mirror to inspect herself.
The scar just below her right breast was something few knew about. It was from a childhood accident and hadn't caused her much trouble over the years. But as a woman, she couldn't stand the thought of having a visible scar.
But now, the scar that had been with her for nearly 20 years was gone. All that remained was a faint pink mark, and she still found it hard to believe.
Meanwhile, Daniel had been feeling more energized lately. The only thing that frustrated him was that Charlene's beauty made it hard to resist. "Hold it in," he muttered and shook his head.
At breakfast, she looked at him intently.
"What's wrong?" Daniel looked up and met her gaze.
Charlene took a deep breath. "Where did you get that youth cream? I just checked, and the scar on my body is gone. And look at my hands." She extended her soft, delicate hands toward him. "Do you see the difference?"
"It's beautiful." He nodded approvingly.
"I'm not talking about that." She shook her head. "I mean the result. Don't my hands look brighter and smoother?"
He hadn't received any news from Omari lately. Daniel had been wreaking havoc in Qranross, eliminating their forces, yet Omari hadn't shown any signs of action. He felt it was time to find a way to provoke them, and the youth cream was a perfect opportunity.
At that thought, Daniel quickly dialed Conor's number. "Mr. Fuentes, prepare a contract for me. We'll sign it under the company's name, stating that we're providing the technology and collaborating with Geller Cosmetics."
Conor was confused, but given that the Ashcroft Group had no ongoing projects and lacked a core research team, they really had nothing to do at the moment.
"Alright. I'll have someone prepare it." Conor wasn't sure of Daniel's plans, but he still arranged for his men to prepare the contract.
After hanging up, Daniel smiled to himself. "Omari, let's see how long you can stay silent."
