"It looks like you know who I am," Camille Lawson said softly.
Amelia pursed her lips. "Cooperate, or I won't be so polite."
"Then let me see your strength, young lady."
A playful glint flashed in Camille's eyes. Without a doubt, her target this time was Daniel. But since she'd come across such an interesting young lady. She didn't mind having a little fun.
"I'm angry now! You will have serious consequences!" Amelia stated seriously.
Just now, she had seen that Camille was marked as the highest level on the device, which meant that Camille was extremely dangerous.
Camille didn't speak but raised her hand.
"The Grand Slam!" Amelia stomped her foot and suddenly lowered her head. In the next second, she appeared right in front of Camille.
The Grand Slam wasn't just a nickname—it was the name of a technique.
"So, you really are that man's descendant!" A look of realization crossed Camille's eyes, followed by anger immediately after.
That man was an unreliable troublemaker, someone despised by everyone in the martial world. Camille never expected him to have such a silly-looking descendant.
Although she knew she shouldn't take out her frustration on Amelia, Camille was filled with anger when she thought about what that man had done. "Since you're his descendant, then take his punishment in his place!"
Camille gathered her energy in her palm and struck toward Amelia's back.
But before she could exert force, a sharp pain suddenly shot through her abdomen, making her expression change.
To outsiders, this move seemed full of openings, yet it was strangely tricky and uncommon.
Camille's body was forced backward. Though she left two drag marks on the ground, she still couldn't stop herself from retreating.
"Stop!" Camille shouted, slamming her palm down hard.
However, Amelia's body was surrounded by a thick layer of energy, blocking Camille's attack.
"Dodge all you want! Let's see if you can dodge this!" Camille gritted her teeth in frustration and thrust her palm forward with all her might.
Amelia's expression changed drastically as she tried to jump away. But the ground beneath her suddenly writhed strangely. She was unable to push off and was forced back into her original spot.
"You!" Amelia's eyes widened in shock as energy surged around her.
Her eyes rolled back, and she passed out.
"Die!" Camille had no intention of stopping. She raised her hand, aiming straight for Amelia's throat.
"That's not very appropriate, is it?"
Daniel's voice suddenly rang out as he appeared in front of Amelia, catching Camille's hand with just two fingers.
Camille's expression darkened, but she didn't press the fight. Instead, she leaped backward, putting distance between herself and Daniel.
Daniel glanced down and couldn't help but find the situation amusing.
