Ryn's pov
I took that as a chance and slammed my head on his nose.
A sickening crack could be heard as he loosened his hold on me just enough for me to ram my knee into his gut. He wrenched back with a grunt completely dropping his hold on me.
The footsteps of the other men had me swiftly picking up my gun to aim at their leader. They too put out theirs to aim at me. I was surrounded and by the looks of it I was outnumbered.
There were five of them including Ace who wasn't one to be messed with. I was lucky I had even gotten a hit in because of him being occupied with his thoughts. My body tensed as he let out an amused laugh.
"Oh darling you hit like a man!" He chuckled and rubbed his stomach where I had hurt. His other free hand was pinching his nose trying to stop the flow of blood rushing out. It probably was broken. He winced when he pinched on the bridge of his nose.
"Back away!" I sneered and let my eyes scan the other men present. They looked bold enough to actually shoot me if I harm their precious leader. My mind went numb as I thought of a way out.
"You're the one who is outnumbered here darling, so why don't you lower the gun." Ace rough voice spoke. He removed his hand away from his nose only for more blood to trickle down to his lip. He pulled out a pistol from his back pocket and cocked it at me.
A cold sweat rocked my body and my gut wrenched as I placed my gun softly on the ground. I lifted my hands up reluctantly in surrender and glared at a smirking Ace.
"Now Waters, I would like you to go back where you came from and I'll be on my way." He tsk.
"You're letting me go?" I asked unbelievably. I searched his face for any sign of deception but his face was stock with indifference.
He sighed like the conversation exhausted him and placed the gun back in his back pocket. "Is it that hard to believe that I don't want to kill such a beautiful woman?" He smirked and laughed when he saw my face turn into contempt.
His muscular arm rested near my head as his face leaned towards me until he was just a breath away. His nose was still bleeding but that still didn't take away how handsome of a devil he looked. He was the exact opposite of the guys I dated yet I still couldn't deny how attractive he was.
"Now listen closely Waters, you're lucky I'm letting you go and not skinning you alive right now. No one would be able to identify you after I'm done with you." His accent rolled off his tongue smoothly. My eyes turned into slits but I didn't retort back.
He had a little smile as he reached over and twirled my long strands between his fingers. Something mischievous was detected in his orbs before he quickly concealed it.
"How long has it been since you've been laid? It's a shame really that you still hold that resentment towards me, we could have slept a long time ago, maybe then you'd not be so uptight." He whispered, staring at me. My jaw clenched as I refrain from punching his pretty face in.
"Reed, have you ever heard of personal space? I suggest you back away and stop with your crude remarks. I wouldn't sleep with you if you were the last man on earth!" I snapped my patience running thin, especially as he kept staring at my breast and it was affecting me.
