Jade's POV

I walked into Dane's small office and placed the Magna files on his desk.

"These are for Mr. Dale. They need to be signed and sent back to me. Please." I smiled. After spending so much time working with him, we become friends in third month here. Dane was sweet and funny when Kyle wasn't around.

"Why don't you go give him yourself?" He jokes. I raise my brows. Did Dane know about the arrangement between Kyle and I? I shake my head. Kyle would never tell Dane something so personal.

Would he?

Not taking any chance I said "You know I'm not allowed to disturb him, you're the only one with that authority."

He turn to the side and look at me. "But he invited you in there? Aren't you guys on talking terms?"

I laughed, "No, I'm not on talking terms with him. Still the secretary" I rolled my eyes.

Only the secretary.

"Why did he want to speak to you then?" Dane Inquired. Of course he would be curious that was the first time Kyle had ever wanted to see or speak to me in my time with Dale's Corp.

"Nothing important and plus I have don't have time to talk about it." I said trying to leave the topic alone. There was no way in he'll I'm going to give Dane any idea.

"Guess what?" He paused and rest his hands under his chin. "I have all day and I have to give you work, so spill. " This man just doesn't give up.

I stayed silent for a minute trying to make a perfect lie.

"My brother got in some mess and Mr. Dale found out, he just warned me to keep my brother in check or else I'll lose my job." I sighed to make it look more realistic.

Dane shake his head. "That brother of yours always getting himself in trouble. "

"Yeah, but he'll learn his lesson." I said with a sigh but really I was smiling in my head.

"Anyways, I want you to write a letter to Mr. Allen telling him how you loved your time at the tennis match last week. Tell him thanks and that you can't wait to meet up again." Dane was good at this job, he was also good at making me do his job. I never even went on the tennis court with them yesterday but that didn't matter, it was my job to make it feels like I was.

I flashed him a fake smile. "I'll get right on it. "

After a hour later, my phone made a bussing sound so I took it up and read the message which was from Mr. Dale.

Let's meet at your place tonight.

I sighed and wrote back a quick reply to him

Me: My brother will be home tonight.

Kyle: Why is that a problem?

Me: I haven't told him about the plan, if I did he wouldn't allow it and he'd me angry.

Kyle: You are doing this for him.

Me: That would make him even more angry. He believes that I spend all my time looking after him.

Kyle: But you do.

Me: I know, he's the only family I have and he is my younger brother and I want him to be Happy.

Kyle: I know and that's why you are willing to give me a heir because you want his future to be better. He's gonna find out that you're pregnant, you're belly is eventually going to get big.

Me: I'm not pregnant yet so I have time to tell him.

Kyle: Well its all up to you. We'll meet at my place then.

Me: That's the next problem. He's being getting suspicious lately, asking me questions.

Kyle:What did you tell him?

Me: That I slept at a hotel because I had a big meeting in the morning.

Kyle: So you lied?

Me: Well, yes. I wasn't ready to say "Hey guess what Josh, I'm sleeping with my boss so we can have a baby and you know what the best part is? He's paying me. Now you need to start getting your act together.""

Kyle: Don't be like that.

Me: Then how am I going to be? I have to lie. At least for now.

Kyle: Try and find a way to get away from him, I have something dirty planned for tonight.

Me: Why does that make me hot?

Kyle: I'll pick you up at 7 and you'll find out by 8. Now get back to work before I fire you.

I placed my phone back on my desk with a smirk on my face. I was playing with fire and someway along the way I'm going to get burn.

Well, not if i don't get too close.

The knock on my door got me a little too excited. I rush to open the door but when I opened it I saw my best friend Cassie instead of Kyle.

"What are you doing here?"

"Well, hello to you too best friend." I opened my door wider to let her in.

"Sorry, I'm expecting someone."

"I know you would and that's why I don't want to draw you in it. You have too much on your plate already, your grandma needs you."

She sighs, "You should have told me."

"And let you worry more. No." I smiled to lighten the conversation. "You never told me sex could be that great."

She laughed, "Honey, I have, you just weren't listening" If there was one thing I loved about Cassie was her ability to leave some discussions behind. "So give me all the details."

Before I got to answer, my door bell rang. Cassie quickly jumped from her spot on the couch and made it to my door.

She opened the door. "Who might you be?" She said flirty.

I rolled my eyes and smiled. I knew what she was trying to do. "I'm looking for Jade, must have had the wrong number. Sorry. Do you know which number it is?"

"Oh Jade the sexy brunette, Yeah, she lives in the apartment next door with her boyfriend, Eric and brother, Josh."

"Boyfriend?"

"Yea, you know Eric, rock hard six pac blond dude."

"Oh" was all he said and then Cassie start laughing and I tried not to laugh.

"I'm kidding, you should see the look on your face. Jade lives here."

I slowly moved from behind the door and showed myself. "I'm sorry she does that everywhere she goes. Kyle this is my best friend, Cassie."

Cassie held her hands out and Kyle accepted it. "You got me worried just now."

"Jade would never do such thing, she lost her virginity to you, didn't you know?" I slapped on her hands and gave her the look.

Kyle smiled. "I know and it was my pleasure to be given such a precious gift."

"This conversation is getting awkward and I'm the center of it sooo....." I looked to Kyle. "Let's get going"

He turns to Cassie and smile, "Nice meeting you Cassie."

"Same, don't forget to show her something new tonight." she said wiggling her brows.

"Cassandra! I swear if you open your mouth again you'll regret it."

"Okay, ma'am. Have fun tonight, I'll close up when I'm leaving."

"Thanks, bye."

I walked briskly in front of Kyle with a smile on my face, I don't know what tonight will be like but i know its going to be a night to remember. Like all the ones before.
