Alpha's Second Chance novel Chapter 222

ROSE

After our shower, we got dressed, and Enzo was surprised that the clothes were just what he loved to wear. He was dressed in a pair of dark blue jeans and one of those T-shirts that sat tight on his body. He looked so hot like this. I, too, was dressed in jeans almost the same color as the ones Enzo had on, and then a top.

When I was finished dressing, I turned and saw that he was looking at me with so much love in his eyes, and she smiled.

“You are so beautiful. I am so lucky you are mine.” He whispers as he puts his hands on my face and vends down to kiss me.

“Thank you for accepting me, even without a wolf,” I whisper back, getting tears in my eyes.

“Had you been a human, I would still have accepted you,” he told me softly, kissing my wet eyes.

“I will never let you feel you are not worthy, never.” He says and pulls me into his arms.

“Thank you. Are you ready to officially meet my family.?” I ask him, and he smiles.

“Yes. Let’s go.” He tells me and rakes my hand.

I lead him downstairs, and we follow the sound of talking people in the TV room. Noah sees us first, flies up from his chair, and hugs me.

“I am so happy you're home, sis. I was going insane, knowing you could be in danger. Just ask Dad,” Noah says, and I hear Dad chuckle.

“Your brother feels very responsible for being sure that you are not hurt,” Dad says, and I smile.

“I am okay, Noah. And I know you do, you always have, and I love you for it. Brother, this is Enzo, my mate.” I say and introduce Enzo to Noah in the first person. And Enzo bows his head in respect.

“Ah, don’t bow. I’m not king yet, and you family. Thank you for keeping my sister safe and getting her back home to us.” Noah says, reaching out his hand, and Enzo takes it with a smile.

“It’s my pleasure, I feel lucky to have her as my mate,” Enzo says, and Noah smiles.

“Hai, we are Nora and Nadia, Rose’s sisters.” The twins say as they check him out, and I roll my eyes.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you both.” He answers with a chuckle.

“What?” I ask him, and he nods his head.

“I was going to tell you. But I didn’t want my experience to stop your search. And I have never been recognized as Antonio’s son. But I promise you I was going to tell you, I was not going to hide it from you.” He tells me.

“It’s okay, I believe you. I can feel the truth from you, remember.” I tell him as I give him a hug.

“Thank you. I never wanted to be an Alpha, but I am a good fighter, and I hope you will consider letting me fight along side your warriors.” He says as he looks at his dad, who looks at him with a smile.

“Welcome to the family, Enzo. Born Alpha or not, we are happy that you are here.” Dad says.

“Thank you,” Enzo says. And they nod their head.

“Okay, my turn.” I hear Mom say, and everyone laughs, even Mom. She gives Enzo a hug and wishes him welcome. She adds that she thinks he was grilled enough for tonight and that dinner is ready.
