"I don't want to go. I'm sort of scared," She said laughing at the irony of the whole situation.
"Grace, I don't think I can kill you," I said honestly, my heart twisting at turning in the worst way.
"Fay, this is hard. This conversation is hard on me. I just want to go and kill everything. This has to end, and you're the only one who can end it," She said smiling as if knowing her fate was inevitable.
I sighed. This was it.
Lydia
I had something that the others didn't have. I was completely human. I knew where to find Fay because of this. I knew that I wouldn't find her with werewolf senses, but instead my vast knowledge of her.
She always had a plan. A way out of things. I just needed to picture in my head where she would go with Grace. Everyone else would be in wolf form wandering around aimlessly. Picking up a scent isn't good enough.
To be truthful, I really hated how they all thought I was helpless. Fay knew I could kill her in her sleep if I wanted to. She was the only one that knew how deadly I was/could be.
I felt my daggers weight on my hip and I fingered my darts. Soon I'll feel like I belong again. A skilled hunter.
When I came into a clearing I wasn't prepared.
I needed help. I needed it now.
Fay
I shifted into my wolf. I couldn't do it in my human form.
She stood waiting for me to end it, but I froze. And that was the worst mistake I could have made.
In a blink of an eye everything changed. I was no longer ending a life, but fighting for my own.
Sharp claws ripped through my fur and I felt my blood matting everywhere it could. I didn't expect this. I got one good swipe before she got my throat.
I didn't expect this. My mind kept chanting to me. I closed my eyes. Knowing that this was it.
One sharp stab to my stomach. Just like in my dream, like I predicted would happen. I can't move, why can't I move? What did she stab me with? Did she have a knife this whole time?
Grace left, I couldn't feel her presence. I thought I would die quickly, but this was dragging on. I felt flames, smelled smoke, everything was happening. I, I, I, don't want to go. I don't want to die.
Why is this happening? I thought I died happy. This isn't want I want. This is what I'll never want.
Lydia
Fire. The flames so hot, and in the center of everything was. Fay. She can't be dead. But she's so still. I ran to her. The blaze so close to my skin.
