Alpha Twins And Their Hybrid Mate novel Chapter 74

I was still trying to get used to the winter in Alaska, where the sun barely even showed itself. It was just dark all the time. Even when we were at school. Sometimes, the sun would only show itself on the horizon and then it would disappear. But the northern lights that lit up the sky were something else entire. Something that I would never forget and one thing that I absolutely loved about this place.

I didn’t mind sitting on the veranda at night, covered in a blanket to watch them move across the sky.

Since Dean lived in the same street, I would see him occasionally, but it was never anything but a quick wave and that was it. I didn’t have anything to say to him. But I knew that he was worried about Sara. That was obvious.

I overheard him in the front yard talking to the twins and asking if we’d heard from Sara. They told Dean that she would call me occasionally from Seattle and apparently she’s not calling Dean very often.

I was kind of surprised by that. I thought they were pretty close. But I knew that Sara was pretty busy trying to find out everything she could about this curse. So, maybe she just hasn’t had much time to call him. But she was with his pack, it’s not like he didn’t have other people keeping an eye on her and it’s not like she was unprotected.

He would definitely make sure that she was protected. I guess he didn’t like hearing from other people instead of her.

It wasn’t really my problem and the guys were the ones that spoke to him. Not me.

When I went upstairs I had a shower and I got dressed for bed and I sat at the desk in our room doing my homework when my phone started ringing.

“Hello.” I answered.

“Hi. It’s me.” Sara said.

“Hey, have you called Dean? He’s being a real pain in the ass because you haven’t been calling him that often.” I said.

“He calls me every half an hour. The more he calls the less I call him back.” She said. And I started laughing.

“Good policy.” I said. Well, that explained it. He was pissing her off so she wouldn’t answer his calls and then wouldn’t call him back. That actually made sense to me.

“Anyway, I’ve found something that you might be interested in.” She said.

The twins just walked into the room and I gestured for them to walk over.

“Alright. I’m putting you on speaker phone for all of us to hear you.” I said, placing my phone down and I put it on speaker.

“Alright. I have found out something about a curse in Alaska. It’s the only one that I’ve found so it has to be the same one, right. Anyway, I’ve been investigating a witch's activity trail. They have an undiscovered secret base in the forests of Alaska. It’s most likely the source of the curse.” Sara explained.

“Do you know where?” Tristan asked.

“It’s in the woods. Do you know the Wiseman trail? There’s a forest right off to the left of that. It’s a really dense looking forest from what I can tell. It’s a national park called Gates of the Arctic National Park.” Sara said.

“Yeah. That’s a couple hours away from here.” Nathan said.

“Well, it’s in there somewhere. It’s a really large park and I’m sorry that I can’t narrow it down further for you. But I know that the base is in there somewhere.” Sara said.

“It looks like we’re going camping.” Tristan said. And I looked at them with my eyes practically popping out of my head.

The guys both looked at me and started laughing.

“Don’t worry. We’ll have a tent and it’ll be warm enough. We won’t freeze.” Nathan said.

Chapter 74 2

I told him that they will probably just leave me behind when I freeze to death.

The guys looked at me like I was overreacting, and I knew that I was but I wasn’t really looking forward to this.

As soon as we got enough into the forest so the park ranger couldn’t see us any longer, we started marking out where we were.

“Alright. We need to cover every inch of this forest. And it’s going to be mostly in the dark because the sun hates winter in Alaska, just as much as Ella does.” Tristan said.

“I don’t blame it.” I said.

Chapter 74 3

“Do you want me to go back and wait in the car because I will do it.” I said.

Nathan just chuckled and put his arm around me. I knew that this wasn’t going to be pleasant, but we needed to find where this base was that the witches were using to keep the curse on the packs going.

So we started off towards the forest and we were checking every single inch of this forest for any hidden base or door or anything that might be used by witches.

We knew that it wasn’t going to be easy. It was definitely rough terrain through these woods and it was going to take more than a few days to get through these woods, but we weren’t going to stop until we found it.

If Sara said that it was here. It was here.
