The cab pulls up into the loading zone to let me out. The driver gets out to help me with my bag. "Thank you!" I say, handing him a tip and giving a slight wave. I walk into the airport and head straight for the baggage check-in. "Hello Miss, where are we flying to today?" the guy behind the counter asks. "New York. I already bought a ticket, but I need to fly out as soon as possible," I told him. "Okay, that's no problem. We can switch you to the flight that leaves in 20 minutes, and it's not full. It will be terminal 22. You can have a seat in that section, and they will announce it soon," the clerk directs, handing me the ticket. "Thank you," I tell him and walk to the designated section, taking a seat.

Malachi's POV

I shoved the front door with so much force it falls off its hinges. All the people that came for the baby's announcement stand there with their eyes wide. I rush my father, slamming him against the wall, picking him up by the collar. "If she leaves and never returns, I will kill you without even blinking, old man!!" I shout. My father stares at me in shock and in fear, which I've never seen in my life. I drop him like the trash that he is and walk off. Everyone looks at me in horror.

"GET THE HELL OUT!!" I growl, and they scatter, rushing out the door. Someone grabs my shoulder and I turn around, grabbing the person by the throat, choking the life out of them before I see Paul. I let go and watch as he gasps for air, holding his neck. "I'm sorry Paul I didn't know it was you," I admit. "Man, what has gotten into you. You're acting crazy?" He says in a raspy tone because I almost crushed his larynx. "My father told Chloe she was just a human and not good enough to be a Luna. She left me," I declare. "What?!" He yells in a whisper. "I'm going after her," I say when Amelia walks in, looking confused to see the door torn off, and the crowd is gone.

"Where is Chloe," she asks, looking around. "She left for the airport because of him. He said she was acting like a child, which is why we have never had a human Luna," I tell her while pointing at my father aggressively. Amelia looks in his direction, and I can see the fire in her eyes. She is pissed. She lunges at my father, but Paul grabs her before she reaches him. She is inches away from his face, ready to rip his throat out and I could care less at this point. I'd let her.

I turn to leave when Amelia’s voice stops me. "Where are you going?" she asks. "To get Chloe," I state. "I'm coming with you," she demands and follows me with Paul at her Heels. We all get in the car and drive away. I pull up to the no parking area and get out running to the entrance.

"Hey!, you can't park there, sir." The security shouts. "Tow it. I don't give a FUCK!" I yell back, and I keep running. I rush around the airport looking frantically everywhere she is nowhere. I lean against the wall and slump down to the floor, putting my head in my hands. "Malachi, are you okay?" Paul asks. "NO!" I snap. "I know you're hurting, but I know she will come back. She loves you," Paul tells me. "You didn't see the hurt in her eyes," I tell him sadly. “Well then, you never stop fighting for her, Malachi," Paul says.

"I won't stop, till the day I die," I reply. I feel so empty walking out of the airport without my Luna.

Chloe POV

I look through my phone, wanting to call Marley to let her know I'll be boarding soon, but they announce my flight before I can. I stand walking to the door entrance and hand the flight attendant my ticket. She gives me the go ahead to enter the plane.

I take my seat to see I have several missed calls from Amelia and Malachi. I ignore them and put my headphones in my ears. The plane starts to take off and I remember just how much I hate flying. I can feel myself starting to get nauseated, so I close my eyes and see Malachi's face, his soft lips and his beautiful smile, and then my mind goes to his ripped body covered in all those unique tattoos. My lady parts immediately start to tingle. ‘Damn it, Chloe! Stop it! Don't think about that stuff,’ I scold myself, but I can't help it. I keep seeing his large hands all over my body. Damn it!!...

Once the seatbelt sign goes off, I rush to the restroom. I step in and lock the door. I stand with my back against the wall, lifting my dress to get it out of my way. I'm so wet it drips down my legs, so I take two fingers and insert them inside. While using my thumb to rub my clit, I close my eyes again to get my visions back. Bringing forth the day in the shower where he told me in his deep Alpha voice, he would make me scream.

I was fingering myself faster and faster, and it was like an atomic bomb went off., "OOH FUCK!!!" I screamed out in release. "Miss, is everything okay in there?" A flight attendant asks, knocking on the door. "Yes, I'm fine. I smashed my finger on my seat lid," I lied. ‘Shit, how do you forget you're on a damn plane,’ I tell myself. "Okay, just checking,” The attendant says.I wash my hands and casually walk back to my seat. I put my head against the window, and slept for the rest of the flight.

I landed, and I called Marley to let her know I was here. I sat on a bench outside, waiting patiently, when my phone started to ring. "Hello?" I mumble. "Chloe, why have you been ignoring my calls?" Amelia says furiously. "I needed some time, okay," I say. "Chloe, he came after you, but it was too late. And before that, he threatened his father. He said he would kill him; that's how much he loves you," she states.

"Oh my gosh!" I say in utter disbelief. ‘He would harm his own father for me. I'm so stupid to have listened to his father.’ "Amelia, I'm sorry. I let my emotions get the best of me," I tell her. "It's okay, but you should call him to let him know you're okay. He is worried since you weren't answering." She tells me. "Okay, I will," and we hang up.

I bring Malachi's name up on my phone, and it rings only a second before he answers. "Luna! You’re okay! I was so worried,” he says. "I'm fine. I landed in New York. I'm waiting for my sister to come to get me now," I explain. "I'm so sorry for my father, Luna. He has always had a hatred for humans. I don't know why," He tells me. "I don't care what he says, Malachi. I just got emotional; my hormones are all over the place right now," I exclaim. "I was so scared I would never see you again." He says with so much emotion in his voice. "You will never lose me Malachi, I love you so much I should have known that you would protect me no matter what." I declare, feeling so guilty for the way I treated him before I left.

I walk to the kitchen to see Ben at the table and the kids watching TV in the living area. Kali's at the island, helping stir the pancake mix. I walk to the island and sit down next to her. "Good morning!" I say. "Hey, you're awake!" Kali says, smiling. "So, did your mom tell you yet?" I ask Kali. "Tell me what?" she says, looking between Marley and me. "I am having a baby, too," I smile. "NO WAY!! This is so awesome! Our babies will be friends" she squeals. I just laugh and hug her tight. "We are in this together," I tell her, smiling.

"I need to see a picture of the daddy," Kali says, laughing. I open my phone and show her a picture I have of Malachi. It's one that I took when he was shirtless and caught him off guard. He looks so sexy. "What?! This is your boyfriend, Aunt Chloe?" Kali's mouth is wide open. "Hey, calm your hormones, he's mine!" I laugh. We both start laughing.

"Mom, come, look at Aunt Chloe's man. He is fine" She giggles like a schoolgirl and all I can do is smile. "Damn, sister, how did you find that?" Marley says, fanning herself and Ben looks over, giving her a look. "Oh honey, you know I only have eyes for you,” Marley says to Ben, then looks at me and whispers, "he is so hot!" I laugh.

We spend the rest of the day at the park letting the kids play as we talk about Mom and Dad and how dad was such a prankster and the time when mom almost burnt down the house. We just laugh. We make it back to the house, and I grab my things so Marley can take me to the airport.

At the Airport terminal, Marley starts to cry, and I pull her into a hug. "Hey, don't cry, I'll see you soon," I told her. "I wish we were closer," She states. “I know me too,” I say. “Terminal 34 is departing please proceed to the designated area.” They say over the intercom. We hug one more time and say goodbye.

Tears start to fall, but I wipe them away and walk to the gate. Once I'm on the plane, I lean my head to look out the window and let out a soft sigh. I look down at the picture of Malachi I showed my family and thought I can’t wait to be in his strong arms again.

The flight feels like it took forever. I slept for over half of it. Once we enter the airport terminal, I head for baggage claims. I am calling Malachi at the same time, not paying attention to my surroundings. "Hey, beautiful! Are you here?" He asks with excitement. "Yeah, I just landed. Can you pick me up?" I ask “Of course, Luna I’ll be right there,” He says. "You better hurry. I miss you, and I won't be able to make it to the packhouse. I plan on fucking you in the car," I say in a whisper. All I hear is screeching tires. I laugh and we hang up.

I walk outside to wait for Malachi there. I stand close to the curb. It shouldn't take him long. He is not far from here. I pull out my phone to text Marley that I made it when a hand covers my mouth, causing me to drop my phone, and someone shoves me into a car.
