I stare at Malachi, stunned, not knowing what to say. I start to open my mouth when he speaks instead. "Luna, why didn't you tell me?" He asks with slight hurt in his eyes. "Malachi, I only found out yesterday before our date, and I didn't want to ruin the night," I explain. "How would that ruin our night?" He asks as if the idea was absurd. "I wasn't sure how you would react," I admit. "Luna, I love you, and this makes me so happy!” He says, smiling. "Huh?... You are okay with this?" I question, with surprise. "Of course, I told you before this is what I've been waiting for since I became Alpha." He states.

A smile forms on my lips as I move to touch his face. "I was scared, Malachi. I didn't want to mess things up and end up like my poor niece alone with a baby," I admit shamefully, looking at the floor. He places his hand beneath my chin and gently pulls my head up until I’m meeting his eyes. "Luna, you have nothing to worry about. I will be there every step of the way; till the day I die." He declares. I look at him and my heart feels as if it could jump out of my chest and land right in his lap.

I pull him to me inches away from my face and whisper. "Where have you been all my life? and what did I do to deserve you?" I say truthfully. I didn’t deserve this man. Malachi smirks as he rests his forehead against mine. "I've been waiting for you too, my beautiful Luna," He says sweetly.

We get under the covers, and he spoons me with his large hand cradling my belly. I turn my head to kiss him goodnight and he tenderly presses his lips to mine. "Goodnight, my wolfman, I say softly. "Sweet dreams! Baby mama," he grins. I roll my eyes and turn back to go to sleep.

My alarm sounds early, stirring me from my sleep. I’ll be starting the new semester today. Malachi lays next to me with his hand over his forehead; he looks so peaceful. I don't wake him as I head to the

bathroom to get a quick shower, then brush my teeth. I come out of the bathroom, only wearing my burgundy panties and bra to find Malachi awake, grabbing a shirt from his dresser. He looks my way and stops in his tracks. "Damn Luna. How am I supposed to leave this room when you are looking like that?" He says, looking me up and down with a hunger in his eyes. He brings his hand to his lips like he is thinking about what he can do with me.

"Down boy," I say with a smirk. "Shit, don't make me beg," he pleads. "Oh, I like it when you beg! You're so adorable," I say, smiling. "I'm supposed to be the Alpha," he claims. "Oh, but the Alpha is more like a puppy when it comes to me," I tease, laughing so hard I almost pee my panties. He picks me up and puts me on the bed gently while devouring my mouth with his. To my disappointment, he pulls away. "Am I hurting you?" He asks. I give him a bewildered look. "No, I say, pulling him back to me, once our lips meet again, he pulls away abruptly.

We both walk down to the living area holding hands and smiling at each other and find Amelia and Paul sitting on the couch. Amelia’s giggling at something Paul must have said. "Good morning, you two!" I call out. "Hey, you guys! Did you have fun last night?" she winks at me. "You're such a dork," I tell her grinning. "Paul, we have something to announce to the pack before Chloe leaves for New York," Malachi says. Paul looks confused, so I guess Amelia didn't say anything to him. "What's going on?" Paul Asks. "Malachi and I are having a baby," I announce, rubbing my belly. "What? No way!... that's so awesome, guys!" Paul says with a bright smile. "Thank you!" Malachi says with a bigger smile. Paul gives Malachi a man hug whatever those things are, and Malachi looks so happy. I'm so glad I have something to do with it.

We all talk for a moment longer then we each leave to get back to our daily lives. I make it to campus, and as I’m walking to class, I hear Maci behind me. "Chloe?!" She yells. I turn around to face her. "Hey, Maci! I say with a smile. "What happened at the club? I haven't seen you since," She asks. "I'm sorry I didn't feel well," I explain.

"Chloe, don't lie to me! I saw William follow you, and now he is dead..."
