Ethan looked at me, my eyes red and swollen from crying and my face covered in tears. He reached out with a handkerchief to help me wipe them away.

Before his hand could touch me, I coldly brushed it away. My wolf rejected his comfort.

I took out a tissue from my bag and wiped away my mother's tears first. Mom also gently helped me wipe away my tears.
