Chapter 1676: Gocki Village (Part 1)

Gocki Village

[The war between Gocki Village and Iron Mountain Village has begun. 27:59:59]

Aseem, the Lord of Gocki Village, looked at his people, prepared to fight on the battlement. In wars, when they were the defending territory, he required every citizen to fight.

Most of them were weak and not fighters, but no one useless had the right to remain in his land. He had, historically, thrown out quite a few people who refused to fight.

Anyway, it had done great things for him so far, and he now had two satellites!

Looking at the forests, he watched for any changes in the forests, like all the guards assigned to a portion of the wall. He did not think he’d have to go through this so soon.

The fact that he, the Lord of a village with two satellites, had to go through another war he did not start made him feel a bit miffed.

"What is Iron Mountains and why have we never heard of it?" he asked Ihee, his right-hand man and advisor.

He had been asking this question since the declaration, and he wondered if they had found out anything in this time frame.

"I haven’t heard of it, Milord, and none of our citizens have."

"What?" he yelled. "How dare an unknown village make a scene? Did they choose randomly?"

It was just that to declare war, the Lord had to have his place on their maps, purchased or otherwise. He had not heard of a nearby village named Iron Mountains at all.

Did those bastards really choose randomly?!

"That, I do not know, Milord," Ihee said. "But they could be after the elementalists we received during the last war. They are very good, after all, and we used so many mercenaries at the time. The numbers might’ve been leaked elsewhere."

"I see, that makes sense," he said, voice calm, but he was gritting his teeth. Whoever these people were, how dare they covet what was his!

[Elementalist slaves, line up.] His order resounded in the heads of slaves.

He then watched as hundreds of elementalists lined up along the main avenues while the rest lined up in the battlements, making sure that no section remained unguarded.

The slaves’ states varied, however. Some were still recovering from the previous war, though most were decent in their standards.

Anyway, elementalists recovered much faster than everyone else, and their attacks had extra penetrating effects, so how could he not maximize them?

[Kill the enemies! Get their heads!]

He yelled, and his people cheered to the top of their lungs. The guards also ordered the slaves to chant the same.

"KILL! KILL! KILL!"

Their voice resounded, and they should be audible to the enemies before they even reached the walls. This should intimidate them, lower their momentum.

Aseem smirked.

He didn’t know what that village was, but they certainly had no idea what they were going against!
