After I Stopped Loving Him novel Chapter 1133

As if stealing Ethan's heart wasn't enough, she had moved on to ensnare Harold.

Isabella hadn't spared the finest bachelors in the city, and they couldn't fathom what made her so special.

Isabella ignored them, pretending she hadn't heard a thing.

Amidst the lively chatter, Jordan arrived with Natalie.

The couple wore casual clothes. Unlike everyone else in sharp suits and elegant gowns, they looked deliberately unkempt.

Jordan was physically supporting Natalie as they walked in.

Natalie still looked dreadful. Having just suffered a miscarriage, her body was ravaged, and her pale complexion reflected it.

She looked so frail that without Jordan holding her up, she might have collapsed. The sight tugged at the heartstrings of the onlookers.

Upon their entrance, the bustling venue fell completely silent. All eyes locked onto the couple.

The news of the miscarriage had long since swept through high society. Even though Deborah didn't care much about her reputation, the strange, judging stares from the crowd made her flush with intense embarrassment.

"Dad, Deborah, I'm sorry we're late."

Jordan guided his wife to his father and offered an apologetic nod. "Natalie was just discharged today. I went to pick her up from the hospital, which delayed us. The banquet hasn't started yet, right?"

Without waiting for his father to answer, he added, "Dad, Deborah, we wish you a happy marriage and a long life together."

"And as long as Deborah doesn't brutally attack my wife again, I'll happily offer any blessing you want to hear."

Jackson's expression darkened instantly.

And just like that, Natalie was beaten into a miscarriage.

Deborah heavily suspected Natalie had deliberately set her up to take the fall. She even doubted the baby was Jordan's, which would explain why Natalie was so willing to lose it.

If it wasn't Jordan's, then whose was it?

It definitely wasn't Ethan's. Ethan had been away on a business trip and hadn't returned. Before his trip, Natalie had sought him out relentlessly, but Ethan either ignored her or actively avoided her. Their emotional connection had been shattered long ago.

Ethan was no longer the man who indulged Natalie's every whim.

"Dad."

Natalie called out, her eyes rimmed with red. "Dad, did you hear what Deborah just said? She's questioning if the baby I carried was Jordan's. Jordan and I grew up together. We've been married for two years with a deep foundation of love, and she actually dares to question my loyalty to him!"
