Chapter 478 A Man
Rachel's last visit to Chloe's home had been discovered by Richard.
He felt ashamed and punished her by confining her to their home for a month.
Matthew took her out today without telling Richard.
Rachel pleaded, "Wesley, please don't tell Dad, okay? I just came out to join in the fun. I didn't do anything bad!"
Wesley remained skeptical, knowing that Rachel and Chloe didn't get along and they just now went to the bathroom together.
He said, "Whether you have done anything bad or not, I will find out later. Now let Matthew take you back."
Rachel said, "I don't..."
Wesley threatened her, "Otherwise, I'll call Dad and ask him to pick you up in person."
Rachel didn't dare to retort anymore.
Matthew sneered at the side, "Wesley, we are all adults now. Why do you still like complaining?"
Wesley's cold eyes fell on him, "You came back to help, not to cause trouble. If you mess around with Rachel again, return abroad."
Matthew shrugged and took Rachel away.
After the two left, Wesley rubbed the bridge of his nose helplessly.
He thought, "No one in the Jenkins family is reassuring."
At this time, a man in a white shirt walked over from not far away. It was not until he came closer that they found his shirt was loose with broken buttons.
Amanda asked, "Marvin, what happened to you?"
Facing Amanda's slightly reproachful eyes, Marvin shrugged a little aggrievedly, "Ms. Miller, I didn't mean it. Someone just pulled me. I'm lucky I wasn't pulled into the swimming pool!"
Marvin was a distant relative of the Miller family. Russell had a younger sister who gave birth to a daughter after she got married, and later a son, Marvin.
Amanda's eyes lit up when she heard this, asking, "You said you were almost dragged into the pool? Was it Chloe?"
Marvin said, "I don't know her name, but it seems like there was only one person who fell into the pool today."
Marvin was confused, "Who is Chloe? Why do you care about her so much?"
Marvin was here for vacation. He had been living abroad all the time. It was only recently when he heard that Amanda was here that he wanted to come over and have some fun.
Amanda explained, "Marvin, do you remember that I told you before that I have a sister?"
Marvin nodded, "Of course I remember. Didn't you come back to look for her this time? So, do you have any clues?"
Amanda narrowed her eyes, "It seems so."
Hearing this, Marvin seemed even more excited than Amanda, "Really? Then where is she? She should be considered my aunt, right?"
Amanda continued, "I can't be sure yet, but you, go change your clothes first!"
Amanda felt a headache when she saw Marvin's loose-fitting clothes on him.
As Marvin walked, he still suggested, "If you're not sure, just do a DNA test."
Marvin's words reminded Amanda. She went upstairs and turned over the wet clothes that Chloe had just taken off.
