Chapter 358 Just for This Woman
Owen's parents were dumbfounded by Chloe's words and froze.
They looked at her for a long time without being able to speak.
"Instead of coming to us with your grievances, you should ask your son what's going on."
Owen's parents both froze. Felix looked at Sharon and said with some exasperation, "Call Owen now. Tell him to come over here and explain himself!"
Watching them stand, Chloe instructed Emma to get two glasses of water.
"Have a seat. Have a drink of water and relax."
Chloe didn't mean to go against Owen's parents. At this moment, her tone softened. Owen's parents knew it was their fault. And after thanking her, they hobbled over to the couch and sat down.
Owen received a call from his parents and immediately hurried from home.
The moment he saw Chloe, he became agitated and rushed straight towards her.
"Chloe, I said I'd pay you back today. What gives you the right to call my mom and dad?"
He was about to hit Chloe when he was pushed away hard by Michael.
Michael stepped in front of Chloe and looked coldly at Owen, his former friend.
"Owen, this is my house. Chloe is my wife!"
Owen glared at Michael.
Chloe raised an eyebrow. "How did you know it was me who called?"
"Who else could it be but you?"
"Owen, it wasn't Mrs. Shawn who called us. Come and sit down!"
Felix looked at his reckless son and realized even more that they had misunderstood Michael and Chloe.
"Did you forget that house still has our contact info? They messaged us when you sold the house!"
Owen suddenly froze when he heard that.
He forgot about it.
Chloe looked at the frozen Owen in front of her with her arms crossed over her chest and sneered.
She thought, "No wonder Lucy doesn't like him. No one likes a man who's anything but stupid."
"Tell me why you sold that house!"
Felix looked at Owen and was very angry.
Owen wanted to hide it. Chloe, however, didn't do as he wanted. "He's probably doing it for his favorite girl!"
"Chloe!"
Chloe smiled and thought, "The heroine is here!
This scene is getting better."
Lucy finished and saw Owen standing in the living room.
She was about to walk over when she turned her head to meet the gloomy eyes of Owen's parents. Her legs trembled in fear.
Owen had wanted Lucy to meet his parents sometime.
But he didn't expect it to be such an opportunity.
He was a little reluctant. But they had met, and he had to introduce them.
"Dad, Mom, this is my girlfriend, Lucy. She and I were friends in college. Michael knows her, too."
Lucy was stunned. She hadn't planned on meeting Owen's family.
She had been faking it, trying to lie to Michael. But if she'd met Owen's family, it would have been different.
"Owen, let's talk about this afterward. Are your parents coming over today for something?"
Owen was stunned to hear Lucy say that.
He didn't understand what her words meant for a moment.
However, Felix caught on. "Did you sell that house just for this woman?"
