Jesus was completely confused by what she heard. 

“Wait a minute, po find out.” Chloe said. 

Chloe thought to herself, “It’s pointless to talk to Jessica about it now. I’ve left that card with Michael since we got married, and it hasn’t been touched 

Besides him, no one should be able to freeze the funds inside it.” 

She turned back and headed towards Michael’s roo 

Meanwhile, Michael was still feeling a bit frustrated after Chloe had just left 

As the nurse was changing his IV needle, he maintained a poker face.

He had many cards. If Chloe hadn’t mentioned it today, he wouldn’t have remembered

He thought it should be there. 

“Where’s your wallet?” 

“In my jacket.” 

Michael was answering Chloe’s questions one by one, like squeezing toothpaste out of a tube, 

Not wanting to waste time, Chloe got up and rummaged through his jacket hanging on the rack, eventually finding his wallet. 

There was hardly any cash in his wallet, mostly cards. 

Chloe searched through them one by one, but couldn’t find the one she was looking for.

He searched through them again, confirming that Chloe wasn’t mistaken. 

“Did you leave it at Lotus Manor and forget to bring it out?? 

Michael wasn’t sure himself.

Hearing her say this, Michael started to recall. 

It seemed he had gone with her to sign for it initially. 

“That card shouldn’t have run out of funds for another four or five years, but one of the beneficiaries told me the funding had stopped two 

years ago. 

Jessica was currently a sophomore, and according to her, the funding stopped during high school, about a year ago. 

Michael hadn’t anticipated this issue. 

“If your card got lost outside, and no one knows your PIN, they shouldn’t be able to withdraw the money or freeze the funds. Think hard, where did you put that card?” 

It was a substantial sum of money.
