The rooftop of Lotus Manor is a flower field. 

Some fresh flowers are planted there. 

At first, Chloe was interested when she first moved in, but she never went back after learning it was because Lucy liked flowers. 

She wondered what madness Michael was up to today. 

After changing her clothes, she slowly made her way up. 

It was late summer now, approaching early autumn, and the rooftop was bleak. 

She saw Michael standing by the edge, leaning against the low wall. 

She walked over and asked, “Do you need something from me?” 

Michael heard her voice but did not turn around, just faintly asked, ‘Chloe, what are you hiding from me?‘ 

Chloe raised her eyebrows, but was outwardly calm. 

“What do you mean? What am I hiding from you? If you are talking about my day with Quinn today, there is nothing to explain.” 

Michael took a deep breath. 

He thought, “How had I not noticed how good she was at playing dumb?” 

“You know exactly what I am talking about. Why did you go to the hotel today?” 

Chloe thought, “All this talk was still about the hotel.” 

‘I cannot go there for a meal? Is this your hotel, or did you reserve it and off–limits to others?‘ 

Michael suddenly walked over from the edge of the rooftop, grabbing Chloe’s arm. “Jioleek, do I need to make myself clearer?‘ 

He thought, “She went to the hotel with Quinn, and on the other side was Candy. Such a coincidence could not happen. 

The only possibility was that she knew Candy was Jioleek long ago but kept it from me and treated me like a fool!” 

Chloe’s breathing stopped. 

She knew Michael would not show up at the hotel today at the same time as her by coincidence! 

So, the client who met Candy was arranged by Michael! 

From the beginning, he set up a trap to lure Jioleek in. 

Chloe chuckled, ‘Mr. Shawn, I never knew you were such a master of business warfare. Why are you not working for an intelligence agency? You do fit right in!‘ 

She thought, “Did he really go to such lengths just to expose that I was Jioleek? 

Michael saw her so agitated and became even more certain of his suspicions. 

Chloe only broke down because Candy’s identity had been exposed, so she let her guard down and spoke recklessly. 

“Chloe, when you came to my company to take the USB drive last time, was it on Jioleek’s orders? You are such a good friend, willing to stab your husband in the back for a friend!” 

Chloe frowned. She thought, “What did this have to do with Candy? 

Before she could react, Michael continued, ‘Did you tell Candy something that made her refuse Paramount Airlines‘ order?‘
