His imposing aura almost made Monica collide with the elevator wall. 

“What are you doing! Don’t get so close! I’ll sue you for harassment! You’re filthy! Let’s go, Carol. We won’t stoop to their level!” 

James stared at her for a moment, then sneered without a word, his disdain and contempt evident, 

The elevator chiming, he entered first. 

Monica, intimidated by his fierceness, hesitated to follow. 

James glanced at Chloe, “Aren’t you coming?” 

Chloe hesitated, then stepped in after him. 

Before the elevator doors closed, she mimicked James‘ cold laugh and mouthed “idiot” at Monica. 

Monica was furious, but the doors closed, leaving her to fume helplessly, vowing to teach Chilor a lesson. 

On the elevator, Chloe was in high spirits. 

However, as they approached the basement, James suddenly whispered in her ear. 

“If photos of us together end up online, do you think your husband would divorce you?” 

Chloe blinked, stunned for a moment,

“Something’s off. She’s not right!” James thought, “Isn’t Chloe said to be madly in love with Michael?” 

The elevator reached the parking lot. 

Chloe, still in good spirits, didn’t press further for an answer, confident she could make the photos public.

“When are you taking me to pick up the car?” 

He had promised to take her car shopping once the shoot was over. 

James smiled, “What model do you I want?”
