Chapter 24: The Divorce Papers 

In a private room on the second floor of the banquet hall, three people sat across from Brad Thompson

Candy left shortly after the collaboration talk started, Chloe and Quinn headed back together since they were going the same way-

In bar rush, she didn’t notice the small pebble on the road ahead and lost her footing

She gasped, and Quinn swiftly wrapped an arm around her waist, polling her into his embrace. 

Chlow was still in shock, staring at Quinn’s expressionless face just inches away. She couldn’t help but feel a bit awkward, 

Quinn’s gase held a mix of emotions. 

“You alright?” 

Chloe finished speaking but didn’t have a chance to pull away from his embrace

Chloe glanced up and saw Michaels furious face.

Just then, Quinn, usually the silent type, spoke up. 

He grabbed Chloe’s other hand. “Let go. Can’t you she’s uncomfortable?” 

Michael sheared, “Theantill mine.” 

Quinn genuinely cared about Chloe. 

The two men locked eyes, a silent battle raging between them. 

Michael got it. He was a guy too, and he understood the look in Qui’s sys 

He pulled Chice close, whispering in her ear, “Divorce papere.” 

That’s a blatant threat! 

Chloe sighed, “Quinn, you should head back.” 

Quinn’s eyes dimmed. Finally, he nodded, not wanting to malos things harder for her, and left. 

Michal grabbed Chloe and hurried to the car 

Chloe’s ankle throbbed. She took a deep breath, frustration bubbling up. 

“Michael, let me go first…” 

But Michael didn’t even acknowledge bar. He practically shoved her into the car and slammed the door het

When Chice mapped back to reality, the realized those papers wore their signed divorce agreement.
