Benson was doing it again. His tone and his words felt like accusations, as though Sierra was the one in the win

The smile on Benson’s lips vanished instantly. He pursed his lips and said, “It was just a joke. I didn’t know 

“A joke?” She interrupted, her voice laced with sarcasm. Her eyes bumed with emotion. “Am I some kind of idiot? Why should I be the punchline of your jokes? For a brief moment, Benson’s eyes flickered with panic, but he quickly recovered. “I won’t let them talk like that again.” 

Sema shook her head, her tone still icy. “There’s no ‘again. We’re done.”

Just as he was about to apologize sincerely, his gaze landed on a men’s suit jacket hanging on the coat rack in the living room. His expression darkened 

Siema, have you become so cold and heartless because you’ve found another man?” he snapped. 

Siema frowned and followed his gaze, spotting the suit jacket belonging to Theo that he had given her to wear home. Her expression changed, and her eyes briefly flickered with incertainty. 

Benson watched her closely, noticing the brief panic in her eyes, and at that moment, his heart seemed to drop. 

“You wouldn’t let me in, so is there a man hiding in your room? The jacket’s here, so the guy must be too!” 

In a fit of madness, he stored into the house, searching frantically. 

“Benson, are you insane?” Siema shouted, furious at his erratic behavior. 

Benson slammed his hand on the table, sending a cup crashing to the floor, its shards scattering at her feet. 

Her heart skipped a beat as Benson grabbed her wrist, roughly throwing her onto the sofa. He pointed at the suit jacket, his voice trembling with anger. 

Tell me, who is that man?!” 

When Sierra remained silent, be grabbed her shoulders and shook her violently. 

“Speak up! Who is he? Who made you betray me?– 

Sierra lifted her leg and kicked him hard in the stomach. Seizing the opportunity, she shoved him away with all her strength and slapped him across the face. “Benson, are you done causing a scene?!” she yelled. 

Benson roared, his anger boiling over. He grabbed her hand again, his eyes wild with rage, and lowered his voice menacingly. 

“Sierra, listen to me—unless I don’t want you, you can’t leave my side. If you dare tall for another man, I’ll make sure he doesn’t come out of this unscathed!” 

As he spoke, he leaned in, trying to force a kiss. However, Sierra turned her head, struggling to keep him away. 

At that moment, the property management arrived with security, pulling Benson away, “Ms. Shaw, are you alright?” 

The property manager, a woman, rushed to Sierra’s side, concem etched on her face. Sierra’s face had gone pale, and she shook her head weakly. 

“Should we call the police? The manager glanced at Benson, who was being held back by two security guards, still fuming with anger. 

Sierra was silent for a moment before softly replying, “just take him away.” 

The security guards immediately dragged the still–screaming Benson away. “Ms. Shaw, are you really okay? Did he hurt you? Do you need to go to the hospital?”
