A Surprising Twist of Fates (Sierra and Theo) novel Chapter 318

Theo had been keeping an eye on the time and reminded Sierra, who seemed to be having so much fun that she had forgotten the time.

Sierra put her drink down with a bright smile. She pulled him outside and asked, "Do you want popcorn or nachos to go with it? I want a cup of latte."

Theo leaned in toward her, lowering his head to listen. It was an exaggeration to claim that his eyes were overflowing with affection, but it was close to that.

When they walked past a latte shop, he entered, placing his order. "A cup of latte, please."

The staff froze momentarily, unable to react immediately. It wasn't until Theo repeated himself that the staff quickly jotted down his order. "I'm sorry. Please give me a moment."

As the staff turned around to make the latte, he murmured, "Aren't CEOs supposed to drink whiskey? Since when do they drink latte?"

Sierra covered her mouth to laugh as she looked at him in amusement.

Gently flicking her forehead, Theo commented in mock exasperation, "The latte is for you. How can you just laugh when someone is teasing me?"

Sierra quickly collected her smile, but the corner of her lips kept curving upward, making her look extremely amused.

Seeing her playful expression, Theo relaxed and squeezed her hand. "Is it really that funny?"

She smiled widely and nodded.

"Your latte is ready," came the words.

Theo took the latte and walked away hand-in-hand with Sierra.

Watching Theo and Sierra leave, the staff produced his phone and took a photo, sighing. "They are a match made in heaven."

Once they had their tickets checked and entered the hall, Sierra's eyes fell on Theo as she held her drink in hand.

Theo wore a gray coat and a black shirt buttoned up inside. His neatly styled hair matched his outfit, making him look like a smart businessman.

However, the two nachos and the bucket of popcorn in his hand had destroyed that image, adding a sense of warmth while softening his demeanor.

Sipping her drink, she tried to calm her nerves as she stared at the big screen. "Aren't you scared?"

If he had to be honest, he was questioning Adrian's judgment. Why would Adrian even pick such a movie?

Despite not being interested in the plot, he did not say anything to spoil the mood. Instead, he consoled her patiently, cajoling, "It's all fake. We can go out first if you're scared."

Sierra did not answer him, her eyes glued on the screen. When the ghost possessed the protagonist, it frightened her so much that she gripped her latte and buried her head in Theo's chest.

Theo froze momentarily before reaching out to hold her.

Once the movie was over, a bunch of guys were comforting their girlfriends as they left the hall.

Theo looked at the petrified Sierra and carried her in his arms. Then, he strode out of the hall, leaving everyone else behind.

Once they arrived at a brightly lit area, her fear subsided. She gently pushed his chest, commenting, "You can put me down now."
