A Surprising Twist of Fates (Sierra and Theo) novel Chapter 207

William's expression darkened with fury. "I'm your father! If you dare to defy me, you'll be nothing but an ungrateful disgrace!"

Sierra scoffed coldly, her sharp gaze locked onto him.

"So be it then." Her voice was as icy as her stare. "You never raised me. Not a single day. So tell me, why the hell should I be loyal to you?"

His expression twisted in anger. His glare could've burned a hole through her.

"Sierra!" William's face immediately twisted with fury, his eyes burning with rage as he glared at her. "Don't forget what your last name is. I didn't raise you, but every penny you've spent has come from the Shaw family. Do you think I don't know your mother secretly gives you money?

"Don't act like you're so separate from us. You're always going to be tied to the Shaw family. Whatever I tell you to do, you'll do it. Don't think just because you hired a bodyguard, you can speak to me like this. Remember, you're in my house, and I make the rules here."

He spoke firmly, his voice brooking no argument.

Sierra's right hand subtly tightened.

William looked at her, sneering as he added, "Benson is already out of jail. I knew you wouldn't just sit back and let your mother suffer. If you want her to be treated well here, you'd better listen to me. I'll decide who you marry, and you'll marry them."

Sierra's grip tightened on the phone behind her back as she lifted her chin.

"And if I don't?" Her voice was unwavering.

William let out a cold laugh. His eyes flickered toward Vera with undisguised cruelty. "Then, she'll wish she was dead."

Vera trembled violently, biting her lip and lowering her head.

Her eyes turned red with fury as she glared at him.

It was clear that he was the selfish, weak, and incapable one. He couldn't even hold up the company yet, he took all his mistakes and anger out on her mother.

This man was truly shameless beyond measure.

William, seeing her angry expression, was unbothered, and instead spoke with even more arrogance, "Don't look at me like that. Your mother has received a lot of benefits because of me.

"Without me, where would she have such a good life? How could she live in such a nice villa? When I hit her, it's because I want her to do better. Even though she gave birth to you, a disaster, at least you have one good thing going for you—Benson sees something in you, and that's probably your only redeeming quality."

"I'm completely done with Benson," Sierra replied coldly.
