A Surprising Twist of Fates (Sierra and Theo) novel Chapter 200

The more Janet thought about it, the more it made perfect sense. She continued, her eyes widening in the process, "Theo hasn't been back for long. How could he suddenly fall for Sierra? He must have found out about this. That explains everything.

"He's protecting her because of the shares Mr. Gray Senior has promised her. I knew it. He never does anything without a reason."

Anger flashed across her face.

Liam's expression grew heavier as well.

He had suspected this before but was the only one who had overheard that conversation. However, he recalled that Theo had also rushed over when Bobby passed away. Could Edward have mentioned it to him?

"There's no way that five percent can end up in Theo's hands. Sierra absolutely cannot marry him." Janet clenched her fists as she furrowed her brows.

Liam let out a cold chuckle. "Are you regretting it now? It might already be too late."

"If you had told me earlier, things wouldn't have gotten to this point. No matter how much I dislike Sierra, I wouldn't have ignored something as important as those shares." She shot him an accusatory glance.

"What's done is done. We'll take it one step at a time. If Benson can win her back, that would be best. If not, we have to stop her from marrying Theo."

A sharp glint flashed through his eyes.

Janet sighed deeply. The woman she had always looked down on had somehow become the most sought-after person.

...

At the hospital, Theo sat beside Sierra, carefully feeding her. His movements were gentle and attentive.

Madison watched with great interest, feeling like the scene before her was more appealing than the meal in her hands.

"Uncle Theo, I can use my right hand. I can do it myself," Sierra mentioned awkwardly, and her cheeks turned pink.

"Am I not doing a good job?" Theo asked with a straight face.

"Why? It looks great," Madison replied with a mischievous smile.

"How could it possibly look great? I must look ridiculous, like a total mess."

"Trust me. Right now, you have this delicate, fragile beauty that makes you look even better than usual—not messy at all." Madison gazed into her eyes seriously.

"I don't believe you."

"I'll send it to you." Madison pulled out her phone and sent the photo over.

Sierra picked up her phone and opened the image. Her expression froze for a moment.

The photo had only captured Theo's striking side profile as he attentively held up a spoon to feed her. She, on the other hand, had her eyes downcast, her face shy and gentle. Her hair was slightly tousled, giving her a relaxed yet beautiful appearance.

The warm light cast a soft glow over them, making the entire scene feel especially intimate. At her shy expression in the photo, she was completely surprised.
