Laura and Sage exchanged glances expressing how little they trusted these two men before them.

Kane and Jace had spent the entire day stalking them and were famished. As such, both immediately ordered a bunch of sashimi, rice bowls, and ramens.

Laura, on the other hand, completely misunderstood Kane. “Kane, I know that you are overprotective of your own sister, but this is a bit too much, don’t you think? Are you jealous just because we were feeding each other? What are you going to do if we sleep together?’ asked Laura.

“You can’t!” exclaimed both men simultaneously.

Their voice drew the attention of the other customers.

Sage and Laura immediately stared at the men for their impolite outburst.

“This is a public place, don’t scream and make a fuss!” said Laura.

‘What can she do? It’s not like she could move me,’ thought Jace to himself.

Sage pressed down on Jace’s back and vaulted over his chair. Jace, who could not support Sage’s weight, fell face-first into the plate of sauce in front of him. When Sage saw the sauce dripping down from every orifice of Jace’s face, she suddenly felt an unexplainable joy.

Laura also could not help but smirk as she put her arm around Sage and walked out of the restaurant.

Kane also could not help but laugh. Jace remained silent and took a few napkins to wipe his face clean. After that, he paid the bill and stood up. “Let’s go!” Both men followed suit without saying a word.
