A Relentless Pursuit for Love novel Chapter 466

Chapter 466 Sage’s place was not far from the Yuriel Mansion.

It was only two blocks away.

Looming District was an old district in Nadeem City, and it was also an area for the wealthy. It was quiet and private, with a library nearby and a police station just around the corner. It was also where Nadeem City’s biggest antique shop was located. It was not the first time Luther had gone to the place. The house was actually bought with his name, but Tim was the one who paid for it. There were no installments nor a mortgage, as it was paid in full. Which meant that the house was chosen by Sage, under Luther’s name, and paid for by Tim.

Jace was oblivious to all of it, of course.

However, what Sage said to him was not entirely made up to hurt him.

They said home is where you feel the safest, and when Sage could not go home during the three years in Nadeem City, she decided to find a temporary shelter.

The first year of her marriage with Jace was the toughest. During that time, Jace’s health was still horrible, and he was going through the hardest stage of recovery. For a police officer in a special force team who used to be able to climb the walls, being paralyzed in the bed was worse than death.

it was squeaky clean and very pleasant to the eyes. “Aunt Sage, is this your house? It looks great.” Melody said with her hands tied as she hopped to the window and looked down at the blue lake and flower garden. “Hold off the house tour for now. Come with me.” Sage brought Melody to the master bedroom after having Luther take a break. Melody turned around to face Sage when they were in the room and said, “Please release me, Aunt Sage.” “Are you going to run away again?” Sage asked. “No. Never again,” Melody said obediently. “I’ll beat you up if you dare to even attempt,” Sage said coldly.

Sage left Ross with a car and had her assistant, Louis, stay back and wait for him. After the conversation with Yoel was done, Ross left with Louis in the car.

Jace had someone follow them behind to see where Sage’s place was at. Jace could not believe he had no idea that Sage had a house in Nadeem City, and what she said to him had definitely hurt him deeply.

‘It’s a place where I got to relax by myself because you had such a bad temper.’ Jace felt as if his chest had been stuffed with sand, and he felt like he could hardly breathe. How horrible of a man was he back then that had caused her to suffer silently and repressed to the point where she had to escape to another ‘house’ in order to relax?
