Chapter 442 Acting like a child around Ross, Luther wrapped his arms around Ross’s neck and planted a kiss on Ross’s cheeks.
The scene caused quite a big stir in the restaurant.
Customers stared at them and some were even ready to take photos of them. Sage hurriedly dragged Ross and Luther upstairs to stop them from further embarrassing themselves.
Ross was Primrose Norah’s godson and he was also good friends with Sage’s brothers. The guys formed an alliance when they were young as they stayed together at Rosa Garden The brothers received training together, were punished together, and even resisted together.
Their friendship and brotherhood were formed during those years,
Luther was the closest with Ross since young and hence he was over the moon when he saw Ross.
“Where’s Emily? Didn’t you bring her with you?” Luther poured Ross a glass of wine. “I thought you were going to bring her with you.” Ross replied, “She’s acting up these days. I’ve grounded her.”
Sage took a glance at Ross and inwardly, she thought. ‘He really thinks that he holds the power in the family, doesn’t he?’ “Why did you have her grounded? What did she do? Failed an exam? Or once again sabotaged your relationship?”
Luther chuckled sheepishly. Ross was still single because of his precious daughter. “She ran away from home and is having a crush on some guy. Grounding her is nothing.”
That time, it was Kane who was surprised
.
Emily had a crush on Yoel Fulton? Kane’s gaze was suddenly clouded as his grip around the wine glass tightened. He gave off a murderous vibe. Kane was irked at the fact that Yoel first messed with Sage, and now he messed with his niece. Kane thought it was time for him to teach Yoel a lesson and remind him of where he stands. Luther looked at Sage, puzzled. “Yoel Fulton? Isn’t that dude going after you?” He then went on, “Emily got together with Yoel?” “No,” Sage furrowed her brow and went on, “Emily laid her eyes on Yoel and wanted to date him, but it didn’t work out.”
Luther and Kane slammed their fists on the table at the same time. “It didn’t work out?! Is Yoel blind? How could he not be interested in our Emily?” “Keep it down!” Sage covered her ears and glared at her two brothers who threw a fit. “Do you guys want them to be together or not?” Luther replied, “Of course not!” Kane added, “But it should be Emily who should be rejecting him. Who does Yoel think he is?” Luther chimed in, “Exactly!” Sage was speechless.”
