A Relentless Pursuit for Love novel Chapter 36

Chapter 36

Since Sage had come to save Freya, she decided to help her till the end.

Sage decided to send Freya home personally. Sitting in the car that belonged to the “newlyweds”, Sage found the situation ludicrous.

Sage mocked herself for going to such lengths as Jace’s ex-wife.

It was an extended Lincolne with enough car seats to accommodate both Faye and Zachary. As soon as Zachary boarded the car, he started firing questions at Sage.

“Sage, where have you been? We’ve been looking for you everywhere, and Jace had gone through every CCTV recording that he could get his hands on. But he just couldn’t find you.”

“Sage, did you really fly the helicopter by yourself? I didn’t know you know how to fly one! When did you get the license? Why didn’t you tell us? Can we have a ride too?”

Sage smiled gently and replied, “Of course, but it’s raining today and I don’t think we should fly it. Next time perhaps?”

“Yay! You’re the best, Sage!”

Jace took a glance at Zachary who was acting all excited and cursed him under his breath

He then slapped Zachary on his back and hissed, “Calm down!”

Zachary sat quietly after Jace’s warning.

Sage then bowed to the elders respectfully.

The elders were all seated while the younger ones in the family were all standing.

Jace stood not far from Sage. Looking at Sage from the side as she revealed her true identity sent a shock through him, despite him knowing her true identity for a while now.

Even he found the situation surprising, not to mention everyone in the Yuriel family. “Salem City?” One of Sage’s uncles was clearly flustered. Looking flabbergasted and startled, he asked, “Don’t tell me that you’re from the Norah family of Salem City?”

Even though the family name, Norah, was not rare, there was only one Norah family in Salem City. Sage nodded and answered, “Yes, I am Sawyer Norah’s daughter.”
