A Relentless Pursuit for Love novel Chapter 248

Chapter 248

Yoel truly had the ability to jinx many things.

Jace had been blocked by Sage on every platform, he could not get a hold of her. So, he decided to use the racecourse as an excuse and headed straight to Norah Group to look for her.

The assistant by the front desk said to him, “Miss Norah has not been to the office in a while.”

Jace frowned and asked, “Where has she been?”

“I’m not so sure either.”

All the assistants shook their heads. “Miss Norah’s schedule has always been packed. Her schedule is handled by Mister Grant. All we do is wait for his orders.”

Jace finally got a hold of Hunter, but all he said to Jace was, “Mister Yuriel, Miss Norah has been really busy lately, everything about the racecourse is now being handled by Mister Janssen, he’ll get in touch with you soon.”

After things in Posie City had been settled, Sage sent Finn back from Posie City to handle the racecourse.

After Zayne reported things to Jace, Finn appeared.

“Mister Yuriel, I’ll be liaising with you regarding the racecourse from now on, I look forward to working with you.”

The last time Finn was here, he was the one who told Jace about how Sage had been crushing on him for many years. So Jace’s first impression of Finn had always been a good one.

Sage was obviously an untouchable woman, Yoel was nowhere as talented and skillful as her. Why offend her and trouble him in such ways?

Isn’t it better to be obedient and just follow her around?

He would rather offend his friend than to offend a queen.

He valued his life after all.

Sage’s recent whereabouts had been a mystery. Not even Luther was able to get a hold of her. He eventually found her in the Rosa Garden’s workshop. Luther was covered in white dust the moment he entered the workshop, immediately putting a mask on.

Luther frowned upon seeing the woman whose face was covered in dust. “How long have you been here for? You’re turning into a clay sculpture.” Sage patted the powder off her clothes unwillingly as she observed the freshly grinded diamond ring. She smiled and said satisfyingly, “It’s finally done.” Luther got closer to sneak a peek, two intricate roses had been carved perfectly onto the yellow colored jade, under the roses was a tiny face, like a lively princess.
