A Relentless Pursuit for Love novel Chapter 197

Chapter 197

Gwyneth smiled and said, “I came here today to teach that girl a lesson. Though your Uncle Zane is no longer young, he’s still as charismatic as ever. Girls love throwing themselves at him. That Tilly girl deserved it, don’t you think?”

The other people in the office looked furious as she said it, they wanted to spit at her so badly, but dared not to.

Charismatic?

That old geezer?

He was nothing but an old horn dog.

People were just silenced because of his high position. He has teased and offended almost all of the female workers and artists in the company.

How could Gwyneth accuse them of throwing themselves at him?

Sage looked coldly at Gwyneth..

“Tilly is an artist under my wing. Even if she was wrong, in this case, she wasn’t, it’s up to me what kind of punishment she deserves. Who are you to come to beat her up? And how is it I’m not qualified to repay you for this?”

Sage did not hold back at all. “You wish to defend her?” Gwyneth retorted coldly.

Sage answered truthfully, “Of course. That’s who I am. Isn’t it a little too late for you to realize that’s how I am?”

She raised her hands slightly at her security guards and said, “Bring these two men away Beat them up like how they did Tilly. Just don’t kill them.”

This vicious woman finally showed her true colors.

There was a time when Zane was working outstation, and Gwyneth always came home middle of the night drunken and half naked. One day, Gwyneth even brought a man home.

Leah just started college at that time. She could understand what was going on with her stepmother.

She stood at the staircases and froze when she saw Gwyneth and the stranger kissing passionately.

When Gwyneth realized she was being watched, she glared at her step daughter filled with spite.

That night, Gwyneth dragged Leah by the hair and locked her up in the basement. She slapped her numerous times, and stepped o n Leah’s face with her sharp heels, warning her, “Listen up you dumb girl, I’ll kill you if you tell on me to anyone, including your father!”
