A Reborn Bride Pearl Emerging from Dust novel Chapter 452

She glanced over at Franco, who promptly started distributing the documents he had in his hands.

Everyone present immediately began to peruse the papers they received. Horatio was among them, skimming through the documents, his pupils dilating in astonishment.

He had always thought of Calliope as just a wealthy heiress, someone with multiple identities and a string of companies to her name, but not particularly capable in her own right. He had never truly believed in her abilities, having never seen them in action.

But now, faced with her work, he couldn't deny it any longer. Her plan was laid out with striking clarity, filled with brilliant ideas and insights!

She was remarkable. In just one morning at the company, she had grasped its intricacies and even pinpointed every issue with laser precision.

The company's problems were well-known, but everyone had been turning a blind eye. Yet Calliope had not only identified them, but also devised plans to tackle each one.

It wasn't just Horatio who was taken by surprise; the other board members were equally astounded.

At a glance, they could tell that Calliope was leagues ahead of Lisette, and her competence clearly surpassed that of Horatio and Monty.

"She's amazing!"

"This plan is brilliant! If we follow this, the company will definitely bounce back!"

"You’re hiding your skills all along, Ms. Jewell!"

"Monty, you should have brought her into the company ages ago!"

"Compared to you, Lisette is an absolute amateur!"

"However, Ms. Jewell, these people you want to fire are tricky to handle, and they might cause trouble for the company, what then?"

"Calliope, you jinx! How can you be so heartless! You have three brothers and you still want to steal the company. Haven't you already cut ties with us?"

"So noisy." Calliope stood up, her chair scraping loudly against the floor, silencing the room as everyone watched Zelda with complicated expressions.

After glancing at Zelda, Calliope suddenly produced a slender silver pin from seemingly nowhere and pricked Zelda's neck twice.

Zelda opened her mouth but found herself unable to make a sound. Like a mute, she tried desperately to scream, but not a single noise came out. After a few futile attempts, she looked at Calliope in terror.

She tugged frantically at Monty, desperate to complain, but her voice failed her, leaving her to gesture wildly.

Calliope pricked Zelda once more with her silver pin. Suddenly, Zelda was frozen, her body immobilized. Her eyes widened in disbelief as she stared at Calliope.
