Chapter 255
KESKA: I did not make it mandatory; that would not have been the way to do it. I just said that it would be a great way for the Pack to get to know their ranked wolves, and no gifts were necessary, just the good wishes and positive energy. Mackie and I were surprised, but pretty much the whole Pack turned up for it. We did a BBQ, the ranked wolves did get her gifts, along with Nana and Papa Charles. Nana and Papa researched why both Mackie and I went into heat together, especially since Mackie doesn’t have her wolf yet. The closest thing they could find was that we were so close, even though we are not blood- related, sometimes twins and triplets will have the same phenomenon happen to them.

MACKIE: I was overwhelmed by the turnout at my birthday; everyone was so gracious with their well–wishes, and I have started my own small, personal electronic security company. It gives me a small income, and I can also Help keep the Pack computer infrastructure safe from hackers. I love our new Pack, we have the shooting range, where we can teach those who want to learn how to shoot, to shoot. We have an obstacle course that is incorporated into training. The arcade to help the pups, even though they don’t realize it, it teaches them eye–hand coordination, some of the games teach balance, and some help with numbers. For the first time in my life, I feel that I am worth what I was born to be, and that is the best feeling of all.
LIAM: I am so glad that we no longer have the threat of Jessie looming over our heads. I feel like I can finally relax into the position that Kes has given me, knowing that I will be in charge if she and Trever ever have to go anywhere. I finally feel like I can step up and do the job. I know I still need to finish school, but without Jessie out there to cause problems like she did, that helps a lot. I am looking forward to my birthday, because I will either be a new uncle or it will happen after my birthday, I hope it happens before.
TREVER: Things are finally settling, the Pack is getting into its own routine, Training schedules are being made, keeping in mind that all the Pack will train, I don’t care whether they are new mothers or the very old, everyone trains. Granted, the training is geared for the appropriate age and physical capability of the group, but everyone trains. I know that Kes is worried about finances for the Pack, but Dutch and I have some companies of our own that we will transfer to the Pack, which will help with the income of the Pack and keep us stable. We found out that Kes was also carrying fraternal twins. I hope they look just like her. She already has names picked out, Marcus and Megan. If they are a boy and a girl, if they are both boys, or both girls, then we will need to come up with some more names. We will have to wait and see. I love seeing her round with my pups.
DUTCH: 1 am so excited, I can’t wait for September to get here, I am waiting not so patiently to meet my pup, I love seeing her round belly knowing that it’s because she is carrying my pup. We haven’t found out what she is carrying, we want to be surprised, and then we will come up with names.
KESKA: We are in the first week of September, I am lying in bed with Trever, when I feel wetness between my legs. “Trever, I think my water just broke!” I call out to him. He comes rushing into our bedroom, scoops me up, and flies to the elevator. When we get downstairs, he flies out of the house and straight to the clinic with me before I even have a chance to say anything else. Three hours later, we are welcoming our twins, and yes, I gave birth to a boy and a girl. Marcus and Megan. They are a mix of both Trever and me. They have his hair color, that sandy brownish color, and my eyes, his chin, and my nose. They are beautiful.

MACKIE: Three days after Kes gave birth, I went into labor. I gave birth to a baby boy, he too was a mix of both Dutch and me. He has my blond hair, but Dutch’s eyes, my cheeks, and Dutch’s chin. I thought I couldn’t love anyone more than Dutch, but with Carver, yes, that is the name we agreed on. I feel like my heart could explode. Three days after I gave birth to him, I also shifted. My wolf is mostly tan with gray and black mixed in, she has amber colored eyes, and her name is Leana.
