A Mate for the Latecomer novel Chapter 64

Right when Eric says Alpha Zeus I fainted right there in the arms of Eric so when I woke up again I was in a luxury room with a large photo frame.

The photo consists of a couple whom I assume are Eric's parents and a young version of himself.

I glance aside and saw him sleeping beside the bed "Eric," I shook him up "Eric,' he groans then stretch out his arms, once he saw me he smiles.

"You are awake?" I ran my fingers through his hair "yeah I am" I patted beside me and he moves to sit next to me on the bed.

I made him lie down with me and I put my head on his chest listening to his heartbeat. I took hold of his hand; I know I have to tell him some part of me as last night we didn't quite do that all we did was mating each other.

"Eric, about the other night" I started to speak with Eric's arms around me "Eric" I turn around my arms going around his neck.

"The truth about what happened at the Cascarade," he kisses me "you do not need to tell me, don't believe them and I don't care what happened there Elle," he whispers nuzzling his nose against mine.

"I love you no matter what happened in the past this is us with nobody else. The past is meaningless" he gently rubs my arms.

"You still need to listen Eric, about what Serena said it wasn't true at all, the incident with me sleeping with her mate was wrong."

I sat up facing him "Serena, Jea and I are best of friends yet Jea slept with Serena's mate and stole the book which contains spell.

She put the blame on me and turn the events around, she betrays me Eric and Serena never listens to hear me out.

The Pack started to talk about me sleeping around with the Alpha's sons and other boys in the pack also lies about it."

Eric's body began to shook, he was angry but I held it tight "they ended up marking me as a slut, banishing me from there.

Milly gaze behind me and roll her eyes "speaking of the devil herself," she nods her head.

"Dana, this is Elle Eric's mate," she doesn't look so happy to see me I wonder why "Elle" Alec came from behind her.

"Why are you still doing here?" I say with shock and he ran his hand through his hair "Dana is my mate"

I go ahhh I see in my head no wonder why she looks kind of disappointed. Alec seeing his mate glaring at me he pulls her outside probably explains things to her.

"Don't mind her she will come around," Milly sigh and walk back to the couch. "Alpha Zeus" Milly glare at him "why are you still here?"

"I cannot leave without you sweet Milly or perhaps should I say mate," both Eric and I look at each other with surprise while Milly gave him a death glare. I guess having mates are no secrets anymore.
