Whenever night fell and her surroundings turned quiet, Feena would reminisce about the past. Her heart would throb whenever she recalled how helpless Jack had looked at that moment.

"Thankfully, I was given a chance to make it up to you. That night, when we were out at sea, I made a wish on the shooting star. I had missed you once. If God gave me a second chance, I wasn't going to miss you a second time. As long as I have you for the rest of my life, I'll be satisfied."

Jack was immensely moved by Feena's heartfelt confession. The feelings he had for Phoebe and Bella disappeared like a puff of dispersing smoke, leaving only Feena in his heart.

Although the path to love was filled with twists and turns, as long as it was able to find its way back onto the intended track, everything would turn out alright.

"Darling, could you take off the outer layer of my sleep clothes for me?"

Feena's vice was soft but alluring. No man would be able to resist such a blatant invitation. Gently, Jack stripped Feena of her sleep clothes.

Feena recovered some of her strength after having breakfast. She said softly, "Do you have things to do today? If you don't, can you accompany me to rehearsals, please?"

In the past, Emily had assumed that Jack and Wilhelmina would become a legally-wedded couple. However, their relationship was completely broken now, so Emily hoped that Jack would bring a few good women back home with him. It would be ideal if they could produce sons and daughters soon. The more children they had, the better.

Emily would regret how she wasn't able to raise Jack with own two hands for the rest of her life. She hoped to ease some of the regret in her heart by pouring her love and care onto Jack's children.

Jack was mostly responding callously during his conversation with Emily, and he rushed to end the call as soon as he was able to.

Curious, Feena asked him who he was talking to. After Jack told him that he was simply speaking to a relative, she didn't push the subject. She wondered to herself since when did Jack have relatives in Tarthy City.
