A Life Beyond Limits novel Chapter 975

Peter's eyes darted back and forth across Wilhelmina. Then, he gave a sly wink and said, "Hey, I think you know exactly what I want. Isn't that right?"

She looked puzzled at first, but quickly caught what he was implying. A flicker of disdain flashed in her eyes, yet she deliberately played along.

"What you're thinking… Well, it's not entirely out of the question. But first, I want you to teach Jack a lesson. Make sure he knows who he's dealing with!"

"Absolutely!" Peter agreed without hesitation.

She continued, "Jack will be heading out in a few days. I'll give you the time and location. Ambush him—and if you're feeling bold, cripple him! In the best case scenario, he ends up a paraplegic and never acts like he's above everyone again."

Then, she added, "Oh, and if you're going after him, bring backup. You've had a rough time with him, so you should know how tough he is. He's strong, sharp, and ruthless. Don't underestimate him."

Peter let out a sharp laugh, relishing her bluntness.

Wilhelmina, however, had no interest in further conversation. "Pleasure doing business," she said flatly before turning to leave.

A flicker of lust lit his eyes as her flawless figure slipped through the door.

"I hope you'll drop by more often," he muttered to himself. "I'll make sure you're mine sooner or later."

"Maybe another time." Her voice drifted back from outside, icy and dismissive.

Peter, that pathetic excuse for a man, thought he could get her? He was seriously deluding himself.

It wasn't until Wilhelmina had completely vanished through the doorway that Peter reluctantly tore his gaze away.

Catherine, standing nearby, immediately seized the opportunity to flatter him. "Mr. Trevell, you're so amazing! You're going to have that woman wrapped around your little finger!"

"Of course she will!" He was thoroughly pleased by Catherine's flattery, and his mood lifted even further.
