A Life Beyond Limits novel Chapter 957

Jack and Phoebe headed to the lake, only to see that a blanket of snow had long since covered the lake in shimmering white. Couples sat close on the benches, whispering sweet nothings to each other.

Night had fallen.

Phoebe strolled ahead, quietly taking in the snowy landscape, while Jack followed closely behind her. His attention was entirely on her as he took a whiff of her gentle scent, admiring the delicate way the snowlight danced across her features.

At that moment, the world around her seemed lackluster compared to her beauty. When she finally grew tired, Phoebe sat on a nearby bench.

Staring at the warm light from the library across the lake, she murmured, "Jack, can you sing 'Youth' for me again? I really love that song."

She looked at Jack shyly, and her eyes appeared expectant.

It was rare for Phoebe to make the first move, so Jack happily agreed to perform for the most beautiful lady in the world.

Phoebe quietly listened. The lights from the distant library dazzled wherever she looked, and the lake's surface reflected the lights, with the lakeside covered in snow.

A faint smile hung on Phoebe's lips as the talented man serenaded her with a performance only she could enjoy. Once upon a time, something like this could only happen in her dreams.

After the performance, Phoebe gently said, "Thank you for performing for me, Jack."

Then, she cheekily picked up a small pebble and threw it into the lake, startling an adorable school of small fish.

"Oh, that's right. I haven't finished my bun from this morning," Phoebe said. She opened her bag, took the bun out, and expectantly asked Jack, "Would you like to feed the fish with me?"

Jack nodded. He squatted and carefully fed the fish with Phoebe.
