The two male students said enthusiastically, "Of course, we know who you are. You are our university's basketball legend. Even Isaac and Joshua couldn't stop singing your praises.
"We've seen your video on our university's School Confessions. Your basketball skills are astounding! We've assessed the standard, and you are definitely qualified to compete in the National Basketball Association. We have mad respect for you!"
Jack was slightly embarrassed by the two male students' enthusiasm. With a bright smile, he signed his autograph, only to realize he was surrounded by an enthusiastic group of juniors. A few even wanted him to mentor them.
Jack was overwhelmed by the admiring gazes from the crowd. After he signed the autographs, he hastily left.
Phoebe agreed to meet him at the library entrance. Then, they would head to the campus broadcasting station together.
As Jack approached the library's entrance, he spotted Phoebe from afar.
She stood quietly with a book cradled in her arms. Her light-colored coat fluttered gently in the breeze like the robes of a fairy.
The guys nearby were entranced, watching her in silent awe. Yet, no one dared walk up to her.
Phoebe saw Jack, and she waved at him with a bright smile.
The two met, and Phoebe said gently, blinking her eyes, "Jack, did Winter tell you about the letters the readers sent over the past two days?"
Jack shook his head and said, "No. Why?"
Phoebe smiled and said, "The special event broadcast a few days ago has been received really well. More readers wrote in than usual."
It turned out that since Jack and Phoebe hosted a broadcast last time, the once-lifeless campus radio station had come alive with newfound energy. Yesterday, they received dozens of letters from listeners filled with praise for the station and the two hosts.
