"Come on, you're exaggerating. At most, she looks like she's 80—but she's hideous and completely clueless about it."
"Officer, I've got it all on video! This woman was the one who ordered her men to go after Jack. They attacked first, and our idol only fought back. And let's be real, he looked damn good throwing those fists!"
After hearing the crowd's account, the middle-aged officer pieced together what happened. It was indeed Nelson who had started the trouble.
Someone handed over the footage. The video clearly showed Nelson waving his arms, signaling his bodyguards to charge. Then Neil, Leo, Zane, and others were beaten up, left with bruises and swollen faces. Only then did Jack fight back.
The truth was plain to see—clear-cut and beyond argument.
It must be said that Jack was indeed skilled at fighting. He knocked down six bodyguards at once. Although the video wasn't captured very clearly, it was still shocking.
After watching the video, the officer saved it as evidence on his phone. Then, he shot Nelson a stern look. "What else do you have to explain? You're coming with us to the station."
"What does one piece of evidence even prove? That video's totally fake—Photoshopped, edited, probably CGI or something!" Nelson babbled, grasping at straws.
However, the fight had happened just minutes ago. How could he claim the video was fake? And in front of so many witnesses?
Even Wilhelmina cringed, embarrassed to be associated with him. She lowered her head, hoping no one would notice she was with Nelson.
But the officers weren't buying Nelson's nonsense. Seeing Nelson still resist, they struck him with their batons. The sharp cracks echoed as he screamed like a slaughtered pig.
Nelson roared in fury, "My father is Gerard Cadwallader! How dare you lay a hand on me?"
