"Oh my god!" Casper exclaimed. "Old buddy, it really is you!"
Casper threw himself at Jack and enveloped him in a tight embrace. He never would have imagined that he would run into Jack here of all places, in a country that was thousands of miles away from his home. He felt as if the heavens had blessed him with this opportunity.
The touching scene had left the onlookers dumbfounded as they watched it unfold before their eyes.
Jason was stunned as he stared at Casper. Confusion swirling in his eyes, he asked, "King Casper, this man is…"
He didn't understand how Jack could possibly have a connection with the king of Afrona.
Casper gestured animatedly as he explained, "This is my old buddy, Jack! He’s the one I've been telling you about! He's the one who called to ask me to open the borders to let your younger brother into my country."
Jason was struck by the revelation. So, not only was Jack an old friend of Casper's, but he was also the one who had saved Frank.
He recalled how his daughter, Charlotte, had mentioned that a schoolmate of hers had requested help from the king of Afrona to save Frank. He hadn't believed her words at the time, thinking that she had made it up, but now that Casper had verified her claim, he was shocked to find out that she had been telling the truth all along.
Jason couldn't help but wonder who exactly Jack was and where he had come from.
Casper, too impatient to wait for Jason and Jack to greet each other, tugged Jack with him to introduce him to another friend of his—Brandon Pearson, another leader in Afrona. "Brandon, this is the founder of Haven Net and Genesis Games. The game that we play—'Legend of the West'—is his masterpiece."
Brandon spoke to Jack with a tone that was dripping with respect. "You're way too awesome, Jack! Casper and I are loyal followers of yours!"
