Uriah sank back into his chair as he watched Jack's retreating back. He sighed as he thought about the impermanence of life and how heroes often emerged in their youth.
It was morning when Samuel drove the Ferrari to send Jack to the airport. Jack then boarded the plane that would bring him to New Vork. Claude had booked a first-class seat for him. As he watched the plane prepare to take off from the ground, he heard laughter echoing from next to him. When he turned to look at the source, he was surprised to see he was seated next to two familiar people—Luna and her boyfriend, Kyle.
Jack didn't think that he would run into them while he was on the plane. He took the initiative and greeted them. "Hello!"
Luna and Kyle had also noticed Jack. Surprise was written all over their faces. A hint of contempt flickered in Kyle's eyes, he hadn't expected Jack to be able to afford a seat in the first-class cabin.
Although Kyle had always been polite and amicable to Luna's friends, he actually looked down on them. He thought that they were quite unremarkable. Since Jack had taken the initiative to greet them, Kyle could only helplessly nod his head in greeting. He quickly shifted his gaze elsewhere, giving Jack the impression that he did not want to interact with him.
On the other hand, Luna was ecstatic to run into Jack. After all, it was always a fortunate thing to be able to meet someone familiar when traveling to a foreign country. Luna couldn't help herself as she asked, "Are you going to New Vork too?"
Jack nodded in response. "Yes, I have some business to handle in New Vork."
"Oh! So it must be your first time visiting New Vork! Let me tell you, New Vork truly is a flourishing city. It's even busier than Alnewgo!"
Luna continued to chatter on. "Kyle is going to bring me to Central Garden, and he's also going to take me to Fall Street to meet a few famous big shots. Do you have any idea how amazing they are? They're the type of people that we could only see on the television screens in the past!
