A Life Beyond Limits (Jack Holland) novel Chapter 919

Just then, Leo sprang forward, blocking their path with a grin on his face.

"Trying to leave? Have you no shame? Did you forget there's still something you need to do?"

Nelson's expression turned grim. He glared at Leo and snapped, "Do you know who I am? Are you sure you want to make me kneel and call you 'Daddy?' Aren't you afraid of the consequences?"

How could Nelson dare to compare his connections with Zane, Neil, Jack, and the rest?

Leo wasn't afraid of playing the background game. He smiled and said calmly, "I don't care if you're the president. You're calling me 'Daddy' today. That's non-negotiable."

Wilhelmina stood off to the side in fear. She hadn't told Nelson who Jack really was.

Tension crackled in the billiard room. Nelson tried to bluff his way out, but Leo blocked his path without flinching.

How could Nelson have the nerve to try and walk away after losing the bet? Since when was life that easy?

There were five people in Nelson's gang, two of them women. The remaining three, including Nelson himself, looked soft and delicate, more like pretty boys than fighters, despite the arrogant looks on their faces.

On the other side, Jack's crew—including Ian—had five men and three women. Every one of them was tall, solidly built, and used to stirring up trouble. They weren't the least bit afraid of a fight.

Leo and Jack, especially, were seasoned brawlers. They'd taken on ten opponents at once and still come out on top. Why would they be afraid of Nelson's threat?

If Nelson refused to kneel and beg for mercy, he'd be leaving the place flat on his back.

Outnumbered and clearly outmatched, Nelson quickly realized his threats carried no weight. Panic crept into his heart. He had come in full of confidence, certain of victory. Never did he expect Jack to play so well and effortlessly defeat him.
